4º Yakuza completado despues de Yakuza Zero, Kiwami y Kiwami 2 (jugué pero muy poco al primer Yakuza en PS2).
Ya ha llovido desde que le di a Kiwami 2, juego que compré de salida, y creo que ha sido una buena idea dejar pasar tanto tiempo porque ha hecho que este 3 no se sienta un paso tan atrás, que se siente, sí, pero no ha sido un shock y lo he disfrutado mucho. A nivel de producción es una bestialidad, venir de las 2 entregas de PS2 y cascarse Okinawa y Kamurocho lo hacen un juego importantísimo y seguramente hubo un desarrollo inmenso detrás teniendo en cuenta que el motor y el diseño se aprovecharían en futuras entregas. Es quizás por eso que a nivel de historia sea uno de los más cortos de la saga.
Y algo que me ronda desde que lo he terminado... que este sea considerado el peor juego de la saga habla tremenda bien de esta y del genial estudio que hay detrás.
Como fan total de las franquicias de SEGA me llena de orgullo que al menos uno de los estudios japoneses dedicados a juegos de consola tenga este nivel por tantos años, ojalá Sonic Team remonte porque sería una buena seña de que SEGA sigue dándolo todo por el videojuego como se le conoce desde la época que fabricaba consolas. Aunque me alegra que los estudios controlados por SEGA Europa (SEGA America RIP a nivel de estudios) le esté dando tantos beneficios sin ser yo usuario de esos juegos.

Comencé a jugar este juego el año pasado, ya escribí sobre el, pero hoy he conseguido el platino, algo que me propuse a principio de verano y tras unos meses he logrado. Este juego es perfecto, a mi me encaja como un guante, lo quiero, el verano que viene volveré a el con otro reto, que los tiene y muchos.

- Saints Row (2022) (PC): 8. Puede parecer mucha nota y aunque me parece un juego con unos gráficos, bugs y errores imperdonables, su jugabilidad y momentos te acaban sacando una sonrisa. Se agradecen juegos así.
- Dead Cells (PC): 7. Tras leer muchos comentarios positivos, me he animado y me ha gustado. No es mi género pero le he echado sus horitas.
- Spiderman Resmastered (PC): 10. Tras pasarmelo en su dia en PS4, me he animado más que nada por los DLCs. Me ha dejado boquiabierto su impresionante optimización, jugado en un Razer Advanced 15, i7 + RTX3070, todo a tope con el DLSS en Calidad y 60 fps fijos como una roca.

RETURN TO MONKEY ISLAND: 9
Me ha dado todo lo que esperaba de él, y llevaba esperándolo 30 años. Consigue un equilibrio casi imposible entre un juego de 2022 y un Monkey Island clásico, y eso se ve desde su estilo artístico, muy cuestionado en su momento y hoy, la verdad, bastante menos. El humor vuelve a funcionar como un tiro, las referencias son constantes pero no se comen a la aventura y, tal vez, sí habría subido un poco el nivel de dificultad. Pero como sea, espero que este no sea el último Monkey (o al menos el último juego) de Gilbert y Grossmann

Combinar un frenético FPS estilo Doom 2016 y juego rítmico puede sonar una apuesta arriesgada, pero una vez pillas la mecánica es una fusión que funciona increíblemente bien. Metal: Hellsinger no es el primer intento de combinar estos dos estilos (creo que BPM fue uno de los juegos pioneros en hacerlo), pero sí es el primero que ha logrado cuajarlos de manera perfecta. A diferencia del mencionado BPM que me resultó muy monótono, repetitivo y aburrido (nunca llegué a completarlo), Metal: Hellsinger me ha llevado al límite con su gameplay rápido y frenético mientras me era imposible dejar de hacer headbanging al ritmo del musicón que incluye. Siendo la música una parte fundamental del juego las colaboraciones no podrían ser mejores dentro de la escena metal. Quizá han tirado de artistas demasiado mainstream (seguramente por temas de darle bombo al juego con estrategias de márketing), pero la mayoría de las canciones agradarán a los amantes del metal con la presencia de artistas como Matt Heafy (Trivium), Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), Randy Blythe (Lamb of God) o Serj Tankian (System of a Down) entre otros.

Metal: Hellsinger es un claro plagio a Doom 2016, su ritmo es muy similar al juego de Bethesda, y que se haya plagiado no es algo malo, ya que plagiarte de uno de los mejores FPS de los últimos tiempos pues ayuda a que el resultado final sea bueno. En Metal: Hellsinger la principal diferencia es que debemos disparar, recargar, saltar, etc al ritmo de la música si queremos que nuestra puntuación aumente y generemos mayor daño con nuestros disparos. Mola que cada arma tenga un tempo diferente, haciendo que en cada enfrentamiento tengamos que cambiar nuestra táctica según el arma escogida. Quizá la variedad de armas es algo escasa y yo al final siempre he tirado de las dos pistolas y escopeta, que era la combinación que mejor me ha funcinado a lo largo de 10h que he tardado en completar el juego. Metal: Hellsinger se podría jugar como un FPS al uso, sin necesidad de disparar al ritmo, pero pierde toda la gracia. Además, a medida que vayamos acertando en nuestros disparos al tempo nuestro multiplicador de puntos aumentará así como la música, donde se irán incorporando el resto de instrumentos. Esto hace que cuando alcancemos el combo máximo (x16) se oiga toda la banda al completo y hace que queramos mantener dicho combo para que la música no disminuya en ningún momento. Por ponerle alguna pega al juego, a excepción del malo final, los malos del final de cada mundo han resultado un poco repetitivos. No dejamos de enfrentarnos al mismo boss con alguna lijera modificación, haciendo que los combates resulten un poco repetitivos. El "problema" del juego es que creo que está enfocado a un público muy concreto, aquel que le guste la música metal y los FPS, ya que considero que alguien que no disfrute con un buen riff de guitarra metalero y voces guturales creo que rápidamente se aburrirá del juego. Una vez completado el juego el único motivo para volver a él es para mejorar nuestras puntuaciones en cada nivel, así que si no te va lo de superarte a ti mismo es probable que no encuentres motivos para volver a él. Quizá el abrir nuevos modos de juego una vez completada la campaña hubiera estado bien para ampliar las posibilidades del juego.

Metal: Hellsinger nos hace sentir como en un auténtico concierto de metal, haciéndonos bailar en el moshpit con incesantes y enérgicos riffs. Una vez te acostumbras a su gameplay te será imposible dejar de hacer headbang para mantener el ritmo. A mí, como amante de la música metal, punk, hardcore y demás, me ha flipado y le seguiré dando sesiones de tanto en cuando para mejorar mis puntuaciones.

qué pedazo de videojuego este Immortals. es junto con Psychonauts 2 la mayor sorpresa que me he llevado este año. que dos putas joyas.

me ha encantado y enganchado de principio a fin. es el juego al que más horas he dedicado en XOne (62hs) y el primero al que le saco los 1000G en esta consola. hacía 13 añazos que no lo hacía. el último fue Bayonetta, comprado el día de su lanzamiento para 360.

me alegro mucho de haberlo comprado en físico (por 10e, que hasta me da la risa) y así poderlo conservar y guardar. de verdad que me ha encantado, lo he disfrutado como pocos. además es precioso

Creo que lo pillé en una oferta en 2019 o 20 y lo dejé sin terminar. Estos dias que no tenia nada que hacer lo puse por probar y tardé en habituarme. Nunca me gustó el menú poco intuitivo, el lio de asignar armas, la historia rarísima y la voz de la espada que me suena que se llevó algún premio por ello pero me parecia pretenciosa y automolona, oh mama. Enemigos repetitivos y escenarios vacios.
Solo me faltaba una hora para llegar al final, que sin ser lo mejor, el jefe era algo diferente al resto pasado.

Menos mal que el estudio sacó Hades y me enamoró.

Juegazo de culto.

Es la primera vez que me paso la "Remastered", solo me había pasado el original en PS3 hace años y me ha gustado más aún que entonces. No solo porque sea una versión mejorada visualmente. Este juego, sin duda, marcó un antes y un después en el mundo de los videojuegos.

Todo es impecable, ritmo, atmósfera, personajes, jugabilidad, banda sonora, guión, cinemáticas... todo. Es redondo.

No hay mejor manera de comenzar con Steam Deck que con un juego de Valve, y con Portal 2 en la lista de pendientes la elección estaba clara.

El juego se basa en una mecánica sencilla, casi como si de un escape room se trátese, en cada sala hay una salida y debes llegar a ella, se van añadiendo mecánicas durante la duración del juego pero la premisa no varía. Lo que diferencia a la saga de Valve es su narrativa, con divertidas conversaciones y situaciones que ayudan a evitar la sensación de repetición, que aún así esta presente.

Todo en Portal 2 es mejor que su antecesor, gráficos, duración, mecánicas, sólo le falta la frescura del primero y cierta sensación de estar en un DLC, y en mi caso tras jugar este tipo de juegos en VR hace que me sorprenda menos, pese a ello es un juego totalmente recomendable y la experiencia Steam Deck es única.

Increíble juego… He pospuesto mucho el jugar al primer Zelda porque había escuchado que era café para muy cafeteros y lo cierto es que lo es, pero de una calidad increíble.

Un juego adelantado a su tiempo que te suelta en el mundo y sin apenas información te tienes que buscar la vida. Es increíble que en tan pocas cuadrículas trasmita esa sensación de vasto mundo en el que es fácil perderse, meterse en zonas para las que no estamos preparados y dar vueltas sin parar para dar con las mazmorras y objetos ocultos (reconozco haber necesitado ojear alguna guía para encontrar un par de objetos en el mundo exterior). En ese sentido es cierto que Breath of the Wild bebe mucho de este primer Zelda.

Hay 9 mazmorras muy bien construidas que siguen la clásica fórmula Zelda (paredes ocultas, llaves, objeto clave y jefe final). La última es especialmente brillante. Grande, laberíntica y con los enemigos más tocanarices del juego.

Un imprescindible a reivindicar hoy día viendo el éxito de Breath of the Wild o Elden Ring. Un lejano precursor del género “patada en el culo y a buscarte la vida” que parece mentira que se hiciese en 1986.

The Quarry no llega al nivel de Until Dawn, su historia, personajes y situaciones no llegan a provocar las mismas sensaciones que la primera vez que jugué a Until Dawn. Aun así, es un juego muy entretenido de principio a fin. Los escenarios están cuidados, las actuaciones logradas (pese a que algún personaje pueda resultar algo detestable, pero viene siendo típico en los juegos de Supermassive donde sueles encontrarte todos los clichés adolescentes) y pese a que su historia no sea la más fascinante de todas las que nos han ofrecido Supermassive a lo largos de estos años, sí tiene el suficiente gancho para mantenerte pegado a la pantalla a lo largo de las aproximadas 10 horas que tardarás en completar la aventura.

Lo que menos me ha agradado es que los QTE me han parecido sumamente flojos; muy simples y escuetos, he sentido la sensación más de estar viendo una serie que de estar jugando a un videojuego, algo que ya me esperaba con este tipo de juegos narrativos, pero creo que la presencia (y dificultad) de los QTE era mucho más prominente en la saga The Dark Pictures y Until Dawn. Como viene siendo habitual, este tipo de aventuras se disfrutan mejor en compañía, tomando decisiones conjuntamente para ver el desenlace de las decisiones tomadas.

En general The Quarry me ha parecido un juego cuidado, con una producción sobresaliente, pero que poco han aprovechado los QTE. Siento que el juego podría haber dado más de si, para hacerme sentir más tensión y meterme en la piel de los protagonistas de éste.

DAY OF THE TENTACLE: 9,5
A diferencia de la saga Monkey Island, a Day of the Tentacle no había vuelto a jugar desde que lo hice por primera vez, no de salida, que era muy crío, pero en los 90, así que fue CASI como jugarlo por primera vez, y la verdad es que está al nivel de las mejores. Divertida, muy ingeniosa, y compleja en algunos momentos. Juega muy bien con el tema del viaje en el tiempo para generar puzzles muy chulos. Una gozada.

Que juego más puñetero pero que satisfacción poderlo pasar tantos años después. Prácticamente los primeros recuerdos de la PS1 que tengo, corresponden a jugar al Crash en el videoclub del barrio y el hecho de poder rejugar a la N Sane Trilogy, permite por fin, pasar los juegos con la tranquilidad de la portátil. Muy mítico el nivel del pasaje entre las nubes con una frustración y una cantidad de muertes incalculables. Todo un desafío para los que disfrutamos de las plataformas clásicas que no perdonan. CONTROL: 9
Lo había empezado en PS4 y lo dejé bastante pronto por su pésimo rendimiento. Con el parche next-gen es otro juego. Técnicamente es brutal: 4K y 60 fps, a un juego como este, le dan la vida (también está el modo RT a 30 fps, que es espectacular, pero vale la pena descartarlo), pero en lo que brilla el juego es en la personalidad que tiene. Usando su propio motor, ya desde la imagen se ve diferente a cualquier otra cosa que hayas jugado. Jugablemente es frenético y divertido, narrativamente te atrapa, y en ambos aspectos (y en todos los demás también) está años luz de dos las anteriores obras de Remedy, en mi opinión.
La única pega: los DLC están lejísimos del juego principal. El de Alan Wake se introduce en mitad de la trama como misión secundaria y es café para muy cafeteros, para fans muy fans de AW, por que narrativamente aporta poco y todo es un easter egg enorme, pero hay que reconocer que jugablemente utiliza el uso de la luz y tiene, pese a todo, cierta gracia y se siente jugablemente divertido. Creo que habría sido mejor acabar primero el juego base por que me cortó un poco el ritmo. Con todo, tiene . The Foundation, que se abre cuando se acaba Control, es bastante peor. Aumenta el plano astral, que eran LOS TUTORIALES del 2, hasta niveles absurdos, y se limita a meterte oleadas de enemigos para aumentar la dificultad. Narrativamente aporta cero. Me obligué a acabarlo, la verdad.

El Gears of War de Japón, así de sencillo, no propone nada que no se hubiese hecho ya en 2006 (aún menos en 2022) pero es entretenido y cuenta con ese factor oriental, buen ritmo, buen gunplay y bien equilibrado. Le fallan (o sobran) algunas cosas, como ciertas conversaciones o partes de la narrativa algo manidas o incluso fuera de lugar. Pero las escasas 10 horas que dura te lo pasaras bien.

Creo que con un presupuesto algo mayor y con algunos pequeños cambios podría ser un título top. Yo de buena gana jugaría una segunda parte.

Comencé el juego hace años, y en su momento lo deje de lado (no recuerdo el motivo), la cosa es que tras quedar enamorado de Hades he decidido jugar todo lo que ha realizado Supergiant Games...y ha sido un acierto.

Se nota la mano del estudio desde el minuto uno; el narrador, la música, el diseño, incluso la forma de multiplicar la dificultad del juego esta presente en este Bastion. No alcanza la excelencia de Hades, entre otras cosas lo que envuelve la historia de Zagreo es mucho más épico e interesante, y el combate esta menos pulido en esta obra, pero desde luego que es un juego muy bien terminado y que merece la pena jugar.

Además, me gustaría destacar que no se alarga innecesariamente, dura lo que tiene durar, es su propuesta y no necesita meterle horas vacías para "ganar peso".

Pues le tenia muchas ganas, pero sabía que tarde o temprano saldría para el GP.
Le he metido 38horas y he conseguido casi todo, pero ya llego un momento que estaba hasta la mismisima po**a de cuevas, cofres, ambrosías y la madre q lo pario, así a partir de la hora 33 he tirao pa lante a fuego

El mapa es grande y diverso lo justo para dar variedad, el control me ha gustado, recordandome por momento al darksiders (juegazo), pero se ha muy pesado el hecho de que haya tantisimos coleccionables q luego tampoco sirven para nada cuando ya has conseguido mecánicas, pociones y mejoras.

Me lo compré por que soy muy fan de la saga, no me importara que fuera visual novel etc.

pero es que ha sido muy mala experiencia, historia malisima que no te cuenta nada sobre los digimon entre otras cosas, los combates tacticos como muchos otros de hay no se puede decir ni bueno ni malo,

me suelen gustar casi todo lo que juego pero este al final ha sido una obligacion seguir con el, bastante mala la experiencia

Añadidos los dos últimos juegos finalizados. El Odyssey ha sido toda una experiencia, lo he dejado en algo más de 900 lunas porque ya me saturó, pero prometo volver en un futuro para terminarlo al 100% en ese sentido. En cuanto al Stray, otro juego que me ha encantado. Tiene una ambientación fantástica y explorar los distintos entornos es una maravilla. 5 horitas y 30 minutos me duró, breve, pero de calidad.

Quería empezar con la saga Ys, y aunque sé que los primeros no son los mejores, son de los pocos que tengo en mi biblioteca, son cortos, y quería empezar por el principio. La verdad es que jugar a este juego sin una guía es un dolor de huevos, muchas veces no sabes donde tienes que ir, qué tienes que hacer, los mapas tanto de exterior como de mazmorras son laberinticos y confusos, además de que te obligan a backtrackear continuamente, etc. Es decir muy old school (incluso para mi [carcajad] ).
El punto bueno es la música, es muy cañera, y la ambientación en general está lograda. Como es corto, tampoco es un suplicio. Me pasaré el 2 después de darle un descanso con otros juegos.
