GTA San Andreas The Definitive Edition

Juego largo y en ocasiones frustrante pero muy disfrutable y adictivo. El aspecto ha mejorado muchísimo con respecto al original, se han corregido errores con los parches y se ha mejorado el apuntar que era crucial.

En cuanto pueda les meteré mano al GTA 3 y al Vice City.

He roto un poco el tabú que tenía de centrarme en un juego y pasármelo antes de pasar al siguiente, y creo que ha sido un acierto. Aunque creo que ha salido bien al ser juegos tan diferentes entre si y que se han complementado muy bien entre si.

Pokémon es el juego al que más ratitos muertos le he ido echando, media horita aquí, media por allá.. aunque también he viciado algún dia más. Aunque demasiado facilón era una opción muy cómoda para jugar alguna noche sin mucha pretensión.

El Life is strange con su formato episódico lo he afrontado más como serie de TV que como juego. Y prácticamente ha sido a episodio semanal. Me ponía un día de vez en cuando y le echaba una o dos horitas. Era al que más me costaba ponerme a jugar, por su ritmo pausado y estilo de juego, pero ha sido un gusto disfrutar de él a ese ritmo. Seguramente están incluso pensados a ser jugados así, de ahí que originalmente salieran los juegos por separado.

Y el San Andreas era el main game (por decirlo de alguna forma) al que mas horas le he echado.

Quizás intento no ser tan rígido de ahora en adelante, además muchas veces noto que me paso juegos apresuradamente como para ponerme con otro, de esta forma quizás hasta se puedan disfrutar más, aunque creo que es clave el que sean juegos diferentes.

Super Mario Sunshine hacia 19 años que no lo tocaba , y creo que ha envejecido muy bien, las fases sin la mochila de agua sigue siendo de lo que más me gusta de este juego y por lo demás creo que es un digno sucesor de Super Mario 64 aunque obviamente no fue tan rompedor por motivos obvios.

Resident Evil VII ha sido la primera vez que me lo he pasado- El comienzo me parece brutal aunque creo que poco a poco se va desinflando con algunos momentos bastante brillantes.

Por lo que veo casi que se podría considerar una especie de reboot de la saga, cosa que no me esperaba.

Despues de rejugar II y Super este verano, hacía falta darle una vuelta a la 4ª entrega para, ahora sí que sí, hincarle el diente a Metroid Dread.
Fusion es corto y guiado, ahí recae la mayoría de sus críticas, pero a mi me encanta. Ojalá hubiera un juego nuevo como este, con este colorido y jugabilidad todos los meses.

Habiéndolo jugado justo después de haber completado el título original me hace ver las principales diferencias entre uno y otro. Dead Space 2 me ha parecido un juegazo y le daría mayor nota si no fuera una secuela de su fabuloso título original. El juego mejora algunas cosas de su predecesor; Isaac es ahora mucho más ágil en el control, aunque ello también es necesario dada la cantidad inhumana de enemigos a los que el juego nos enfrenta continuamente. También hay mayor variedad de escenarios, aunque para mi gusto algunos sobran ya que no generan la misma sensación que me transmitió jugar en la USG Ishimura del Dead Space original. Pese a que el juego sea brutal de principio a fin considero que el mayor fallo es que han querido ofrecer demasiado y en demasiada abundancia. Son demasiadas las situaciones disparatadas en las que nos mete el juego; explosión por aquí para ser absorbidos por un vacío de gravedad y terminar en otro lugar, donde somos infestados continuamente por oleadas de necromorphs para después enfrentarnos a algún enemigo poderoso, etc... Creo que hay una falta muy grande de equilibrio que el primer juego sí tenía. En Dead Space 1 la mayoría del tiempo lo pasábamos explorando la nave en busca de una salida por huir de ella y viendo que era lo que había ocurrido en la nave. Los enfrentamientos con los enemigos estaban mucho mejor calculados, tanto en el momento en el cual nos atacaban como la cantidad de monstruos por pantalla, logrando así mantenerte en tensión continua prácticamente a lo largo de toda la aventura. Dead Space 1 lograba mantenerte en tensión muchas veces sin necesidad de lanzarte ningún enemigo, porque da más miedo lo que no ves y lo que te puedes llegar a imaginar que el propio enemigo en si. En Dead Space 2 llega un momento que hay tanta acción que la tensión se pierde, y los enfrentamientos son más de disparar continuamente que de planificar bien cada disparo como hacías en el primero. En Dead Space 2 abunda la munición porque el juego quiere que cada enfrentamiento sea un tiroteo. Para colmo han tomado una decisión que no entiendo; ahora tu stasis se recarga solo, haciendo que los botiquines de stasis que te encuentras no sirvan para mucho o abusando de usar esta habilidad a lo largo del juego.

Dead Space 2 sigue siendo un grandioso juego, disfrutable de principio a fin. El problema es si lo comparamos con su hermano mayor, ya que el título original creo que hizo mejor las cosas; mejor ritmo, una ambientación sublime, un equilibrio más acorde con las situaciones de tensión y acción. A su favor Dead Space 2 ofrece situaciones más frenéticas y guionizadas que quizá gustarán a jugadores amantes blockbuster y una historia mucho más elaborada. La variedad de escenarios se agradece, pero a mí me gustó más la claustrofobia de los pasillos de la nave Ishimura. Una pena el camino hacia donde se ha torcido la saga y que en Dead Space 3 tengo entendido que ya básicamente es un juego enfocado puramente en la acción. En parte se han cargado un poco la esencia del título prostituyéndolo. Habrá quien disfrute más de Dead Space 2 que del uno, porque desde luego mal juego no es, pero yo, como amante de títulos de terror, disfruté más del primero. El exceso de acción es un arma de doble filo y en mi caso no me ha terminado de convencer.

No me suelen gustar los juegos de puzzles, pero este se ha convertido con los Portal y World of Goo en uno de mis favoritos. Solo me he sacado 2 finales, el de las estrellas lo dejo para cuando tengo más tiempo, que es el más complicado.
Excepto los de las estrellas, el resto de puzzles creo que tenían una dificultad ajustada. Hay alguno que me ha costado más y he tenido que mirar, pero en la gran mayoría eran cosas que hubiera podido sacar de una manera o de otra.
La historia también me ha gustado mucho. Cuenta algo muy parecido a Neir Automata, pero lo hace mejor, o al menos a mi me ha gustado mucho más.
En cuanto a la música, tiene algunos temas que me han parecido muy buenos.
La verdad es que es difícil de creer que este juego lo hayan creado los mismo que Serious Sam (aunque dejan su marca al meter un grupo de puzzles en un escenario con temática egipcia).

Bueno, pues aprovechando q lo quitan del GP el 15, me he dicho, vamos a acabarnoslo, que el until dawn me gusto mucho y bueno...se queda a mitad de camino.

No se si por como me lo he pasado o que, pero me ha resultado mas flojo que el anterior. Espero que saquen las otras partes tb en el GP y así puedo comparar.

Halo Infinite

Hacía tiempo que no disfrutaba y sufría tanto un Halo.

Disfrutarlo porque vuelve a los orígienes con algún nuevo detalle como el gancho, el sistema de jefes y ese mundo semi abierto en el 80% del juego. Y sufrirlo porque lo jugué en heróico y tuve que bajarlo a normal en casos puntuales con algunos jefes para avanzar porque me llegaba a resultar frustrante. No recuerdo ningún Halo tan difícil en heróico así que no quiero imaginar en legendario.

Megaactualización de juegos pasados para dejar el año casi completado. Viendo el tiempo que tengo, no me da la vida para hacer una minireseña de cada juego. En líneas generales, año de juegos notables y completamente dominado por el Game Pass. Mi primer juego de Switch que finalizo y también mi primer juego estilo Metroidvania de Metroid. En líneas generales me ha gustado, pero no es algo que haya hecho que me explote la cabeza. Siguen gustándome más los Castlevanias del mismo estilo. Como puntos negativos le veo que muchas veces me perdía e incluso en una ocasión he tenido que tirar de algún gameplay para poder seguir avanzando. Los jefes finales bastante entretenidos, aunque algunos jodidillos. Yo que soy bastante manco en este tipo de juegos, he sudado la gota gorda. El juego prácticamente me ha durado 17 horas, y ni siquiera he hecho el 100%. Eso si, he dado más vueltas que un hijo loco, porque por desgracia los mapas no están bien conectados, con rutas que faciliten el acceso a todos los puntos.

Buen juego, visualmente un masaje en los ojos, pero la historia es bastante corta la verdad, lo que entretiene es explorar un poco y conseguír los coleccionables etc, aún así me he sacado mi primer platino (que tampoco es muy difícil)

bueno, pues ya está el año hecho videojuguílmente hablando. 25 juegos en total, el año que menos he jugado de los últimos 10 o 12 años, pero ha sido un muy buen año. por lo menos para mi.

ahora a sacarle el platino a Control porque me ha parecido una maravilla y me he quedado con ganas de más. sobre todo con el segundo DLC y esas conexiones con Alan Wake, las cuales ya hay alguna que otra por el juego base (cintas y documentos)

Un juego notable, rozando el sobresaliente, más teniendo en cuenta que viene de un equipo novel con pocas personas a cargo del desarrollo. Por poner un pero, sería la dificultad en algunos jefes, aunque creo que eso lo han debido de suavizar, ya que la ultima parte del juego no se me ha hecho nada complicada. No tengo ningún problema en la dificultad en los jefes, de hecho creo que es un juego asequible para la mayoria de la gente, simplemente no me "pega" esa dificultad para este juego. Nada más.

Por lo demás, un juego muy bien trabajado que brilla practicamente en todos los apartados. Si tubiera un top de los juegos que he jugado este año, estaría incluido.

Con esto seguramente doy carpetazo al año más raro videojuegilmente hablando desde que empecé en estos hilos hace once años. Muy pocos juegos completados debido al amplio descanso que le he dado a esta afición este año tras el atracón durante el confinamiento; Donde más de la mitad de los juegos jugados han sido para revisitar juegos retro con cierta nostalgia (cuando hasta ahora apenas echaba mano de ellos por la amplia lista de pendientes más actuales).

Goldeneye ha sido un poco decepcionante después de pasarme Mario 64 y Zelda: OoT. Está claro que hay que atribuirle una gran relevancia en la evolución de los FPS en consola, pero más allá de los libros de historia, sus mecánicas se han quedado bastante más anticuadas para el día de hoy que las de sus amigos coetáneos mencionados.

El movimiento se siente un poco tosco y la falta de un segundo stick se hace todavía más evidente. Es un juego adelantado a su tiempo que habría podido llegar a ser muchísimo más de salir dos generaciones después, beneficiandose de un modo online, la espectacularidad de los FPS de hoy en día, y de una mejor IA. El diseño de niveles me sigue pareciendo una maravilla, pues aún sin indicadores ni minimapa, los objetivos de misión son claramente reconocibles, y reflejar la dificultad en la introducción de objetivos cada vez más complejos es todo un acierto.

En resumen, creo que se trata de un gran juego, pero que en 2022 por ejemplo no rejugaría, mientras que al Super Mario 64 y Ocarina of Time si que me echaría una partida sin problemas en cualquier momento.
