Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit is for the PS3 and X-Box 360.
While the buttons are the same the shape of the control is different, and they have different meanings. There should be little or no trouble switching between the two, but we will be using a Terminology for the future after you see the layout of the controls.

message detail Terminology
In order for this FAQ to work equally as well for the 360 and PS3 versions. The FAQ will describe moves in full with the Terminology in Baisic Moves, but by the time we reach Advanced Moves it will be Terminology alone. It will also contain some baisic definitions used in fighting games. My thanks to Nnamz for doing this and making this FAQ easier to follow and teach.

Fight Terminology
Combo: A combo is usually a series of moves that are beyond button mashing and hit your opponent without being guarded against. Combos have and always will be a major key to victory.
Knockback: Knockback is when you send someone a distance away from you. This is usually good if your play a defensive game as they have to come to you usually.
Spacing: Spacing is usually meant by keeping your distance from your opponent. Usefully if your fighting an opponent who is tearing you apart at close quarters or your are cornered and need to get out.
Baiting: Baiting is when you wait for someone to come to you. This is good because not only do they have to hit you, they also have to get within hit distance. Usually a baiter get's the opponent when they get into hit distance before they can hit them.

message detail Screen Display
This is a short segment that will describe some important things you need to know about what is on your screen and what is around you.
Health Meter: This is your Health Meter. When it is empty you are KO'ed. You can gain a Defense Increase from some Drama Scenes.
Fatigue Meter: The Fatigue Meter shows you how much more fatigue you can take before you are exhausted. The faster you button mash the faster you will recover from being exhausted. Fatigue is gained from taking damage, Dodge and Drama Scenes. It is decreased by Aura Spark and certain Drama Scenes.
Ki Meter: The Ki Meter can no longer be Ki Charged. Now it will only charge up by itself. Ki is used in Vanishing Attack, Pursuit Attack, Vanish Dodge, Heavy Smash, Mega-Crush, Ultimate Guard, Ultimate Attack and some Drama Scenes. Aura Spark will create a semi-infinate amount of Ki that will begin to deplete a short while after.
Blast Point: If you are hit past this point by an attack you will be launched and put into a cutscene where you will take a fair amount of damage and be sent either up to the Sky Stage or down into the Ground Stage.
Ground Stage: You can be knocked into the ground here and some of the stage walls for additional damage. Getting knocked into the Blast Point on a Ground Stage will send you up into the Sky Stage.
Sky Stage: You can be knocked into the sides of the Sky Stage for additional damage. If you are knocked down into the Blast Point near the bottom on a Sky Stage you will be sent crashing down into the Ground Zone for additional damage.
Aerial: When you are no longer standing on the ground and are prone to being hit by aerial attacks and combos.

message detail Baisic Moves
Baisic Moves contain core moves and sub-moves.
Movement: Movement (/\), (\/), (<), and (>) alone will allow movement Towards, Away, Left and Right of an opponent. Doing the same Movement twice will cause a Rush in that direction. Movement and Guard at the same time will cause a Dash in that direction.
- Rush: A Rush is constant movement in a direction at a faster speed then regular movement.
- Method I: (> + >)
- Method II: (< + <)
- Method III: (/\ + /\)
- Method IV: (\/ + \/)
- Dash: A Dash is a quicker movement in a direction at a faster speed then a Rush. However it is not constant like a Rush.
- Method I: (> + G)
- Method II: (< + G)
- Method III: (\/ + G)
Rush Attack: A Rush Attack ® is a fast and medium damaging attack that is usually a combo starter and a majority of a combo.
Smash Attack: A Smash Attack (S) is not as fast as a Rush Attack and has a longer Recovery. But it can be Charged (`) for extra damage and some decent Knockback. It is usually used to end a combo by knocking your opponent away to give you space to recover and to allow you to bait.
Ki Blast: A Ki Blast (K) is an energy based projectile you can fire at your opponent. Tapping Ki Blast rapidly (K, K, K, K, K) can fire several Ki Blast's while to fire several times. Charge on a Ki Blast (K`) will fire a bigger and more damaging Ki Blast.
Guard: Holding down Guard (G) will reduce nearly all damage from Rush, Smash, Super and Ultimate Attack as well as Ki Blast and prevent you from being put into a combo. But it cannot stop a fully charged Smash Attack (S`) or Heavy Smash (P + S). Pressing Guard (G) at the time when a Rush Attack ® or Smash Attack (S) is just about to hit will cause you to Dodge the attack. Guard and Movement Toward (G + >) during a Ki Blast, Super, or Ultimate Attack will cause a Vanish Dodge.
- Dodge: A Dodge is when a character vanishes and appears in the same spot they were in. Dodge has less recovery then Guard, but using it will quickly add to your Fatigue Meter.
- Vanish Dodge: A Vanish Dodge is When a character teleports behind another and attacks them. Vanish Dodge is best used as a punish for Ki Blast, Super, and Ultimate Attack spammers. It will consume 1 bar of Ki.
Aura Spark: Aura Spark (AS) is when a character is surrounded by a blazing aura. While in Aura Spark you have a temporarily infinite Ki Meter, your Fatigue Meter will decrease, and you can perform a Vanishing Attack. Using a Vanish Dodge or Pursuit Attack will cancel your infinite Ki and begin to return it to 0. Your Ki Meter will eventually do this anyway so if you have plans to perform it you may as well do it when the chance presents itself. Using an Ultimate Attack will bring your Ki Meter to 0 instantly. Also. While in Aura Spark, pressing Aura Spark again will cause you to do an instant Vanish Dodge.
Blow-Away Attack: A Blow-Away Attack (BA) is a moderately damaging one hit move that with launch your opponent up. Blow Away attack has some recovery, but is usefull if you want to get someone in the air to perform Aerial Moves.
Transform: Transform (T) will cause your character to go into their next Transformed State. The Demo currently has no Transform for Goku or Yamcha.
Pursuit: Pursuit (P) is oddly named. It makes more sense when described as Ultimate Guard. Pursuit is used in Mega-Crush, Pursuit Attack, and Ultimate Guard. All of them very usefull moves and described further in Advanced Moves.

message detail Advanced Moves
Advanced Moves are moves done that are beyond the Controls and Baisic Moves. These can be as harmless as a Taunt or as deadly as an Ultimate Attack. Either way you are not going to pull the off by just spamming (R'), (S), and (K) all day long.
Taunt: A Taunt is.. well it is a move where you mock your opponent at the cost of a long recovery for yourself. Only do this if you know you are going to win.
Method I: (S + G)
Throw: A Throw is a slow move to come out, but it cannot be stopped by a Guard, Dodge, or Ultimate Guard. Throw is immensely usefull in every fighting game and very different for each character.
Method I: (R + S)
Method II: (AS) {CANNOT HAVE A FULL KI BAR}
Method III: (T)
Heavy Smash: A Heavy Smash is a an attack the will inflict a large amount of damage and stun your opponent if it hit's. Heavy Smash will Guard Break a Guard, but is still avoidable by Dodge and Vanish, and ignored by an Ultimate Guard.
Method 1: (P`, S)
Method 2: (P + S)
Mega-Crush: Mega-Crush will blow your opponent way back in they are in the blast. This is an awesome 360 degree moves that is best used to get rid of an opponent who constantly Dash's around you. This has a huge knockback at the cost 1 Ki Bar.
Method I: (P`, K)
Method II: (P + S)
Pursuit Attack: A Pursuit Attack is when you teleport behind your opponent and kick them away, then teleport again with another kick, and continue to Ping-Pong your opponent. Each teleport is a Vanish Dodge and will take 1 Ki Bar. You can do a maximum of 4 Vanish Dodge's in a Pursuit Attack.
Method I: Aerial (AS, AS, P, P, P, P)
Method II: (/\S, P, P, P, P) *Credited to pokebuds*
Method III: Aerial (S, S, S, S, P, P, P, P) *Credited to pokebuds*
Vanishing Attack: A Vanishing Attack is when you launch your opponent into the air and pursue them in cut-scene where you are told to press R, S, K, and G as fast as possible to increase your total damage. Based on how well you do, three things can happen. The first is you do little damage and get pushed away from your opponent. The second is you get more damage and knock your opponent back a bit. The last is you do alot of damage and Smash Attack your opponent down.
Method 1: (AS, BA, ^G)
Super Attack: A character's Super Attack's (SA) can be done with a full or empty Ki Meter. Each character has their own unique (SA) and must know when and where to use them properly. Method's of use are depended on your character.
Method I: Goku (>K) Kamehameha
Method II: Goku (<K) Ki-Blast Cannon
Method III: Yamcha (>K) Kamehameha
Method IV: Yamcha (<K) Wolf Fang Fish
Ultimate Attack: A character's Ultimate Attack (UA) can only be done with a full Ki Meter even while in (AS). Performing the (UA) will consume all Ki in your Ki Meter so make sure you use it properly.
Method I: Goku (/\B) Super Kamehameha
Method II: Yamcha (/\B) Spirit Ball--
Espero veros a todos en el Gran Torneo de Artes Marciales del otro lado
