Introducción
Principalmente los juegos de GVsG eran solo para los arcades japonese pero debido al gran éxito que estos cosecharon se decidieron hacer ports para consolas tanto portátiles como de sobre mesa incluyendo añadidos, GvSG Next + és la última versión que ha salido de los arcades aterrizando directamente en PSP
Argumento
GVsG N+ no tiene un argumento propiamente dicho ya que el juego consiste en que elijamos un Gundam y seleccionemos misiones las cuales pertenecen a diferentes universos de la franquicia para cumplir ciertos requisitos y así ir ganando puntos y dinero para invertir en nuevos Gundams y para mejorarlos
Modos de Juego
Route arcade
En este modo de juego debemos elegir un Gundam e ir seleccionando las rutas por las que queramos ir, cada ruta tiene enemigos y bosses diferentes, dependiendo de que ruta escojames la dificultad será diferente al igual que las cosas que desbloqueemos.
Modo PLUS
El modo PLUS consiste como en un pequeño RPG donde empezamos con un Gundam de nuestra elección, apartir de aquí deberemos ir eligiendo mapas y cumpliendo las misiones para ganar dinero que sirve para comprar mas Gundams y experiencia la cual ganaran los Gundams que elijamos para las misiones, dependiendo de la mision podremos elegir mas de 1 Gundam( solo controlaremos 1 los demás serán controlados por la IA).La dificultad va aumentanto a medida que desbloqueamos mapas, también dependiendo de que mapas completemos recibiremos nuevos Gundams para comprar que al principio están bloqueados
Modo VS
El modo versus es un modo donde pueden participar hasta 4 jugadores humanos o CPU el cual puede ser un todos contra todos o por equipos
