El juego base me gustó bastante, no así los DLCs que me los bajé queriendo estirar un poco el juego. No los recomiendo a no ser que estén tirados de precio.

Después de no sé ni cuántos años me he terminado el juego. Lo empecé en GOG pero lo dejé a medias y desde que lo regalaron en un bundle para Steam lo volví a empezar y estos últimos días le he metido la traca final. La verdad es que se termina haciendo algo pesado.

Eso sí, artística y jugablemente muy bien.

Obra maestra sin dudarlo, me cuesta pensar la pedazo de maravilla que este estudio ha logrado con el juego. La historia es simplemente increible, los personajes, la banda sonora no es de este mundo y el gameplay chulisimo.

Poquitas cosas malas que decir de este juego, por poner algunas pegas diría que el menú no es visualmente bonito, por momento me parece muy confuso y feo incluso. Luego tiene fallitos tipo un minimapa no le vendría nada mal, asi consultas las mazmorras que has ido o no, o simplemente saber si el camino que vas lo has hecho ya porque a veces te mareas por el mapa.

Gráficamente tiene altos y bajos y un par de tonterías mas jugables pero poca cosa. A falta de probar el deliverance 2 y el doom nuevo, yo ya tengo claro cual va a ser mi juego de este año ( de momento claro).

Una auténtica joya que aconsejo a todo el mundo jugarlo porque es una experiencia en toda regla.

P.D: Ayer empecé el Doom Dark ages y es un jodido pasote, es que está demasiado guapo, vaya inicio de año mas bestia estamos teniendo.

Ultimo souls de Miyazaki que quedaba por pasarme, lo estaba reservando para cuando tuviera mono.

Supongo que habiendo jugado ya Bloodborne y Elden Ring el impacto es menor que cuando salió, pero sin duda es el perfeccionamiento de Dark Souls, una obra maestra.

Historia principal acabada tras casi 40 horas, voy a seguir jugando porque aun tiene bastante contenido, pero sin duda ya es uno mis juegos favoritos de siempre. La banda sonora, jugabilidad, ambientación, historia...todo me ha parecido sobresaliente y me ha enganchado desde el minuto 1.

Hace tiempo en youtube, escuché a un usuario acuñar el término "buenimalo". Para referirse a algo que no es que sea mediocre, sino que es bueno y malo a la vez. Que tiene puntos a favor y en contra muy marcados, dejándote una sensación extraña. Algo parecido a agridulce. Pues bien, este juego es extremadamente buenimalo. Un soulslike que he disfrutado y sufrido a partes iguales.

Porque hay cosas que hace muy bien. El apartado visual es excelente. No es que sea una bestia técnica, pero ese estilo visual rollo anime le sienta como un guante, y supone un soplo de aire fresco a un género plagado de fantasía oscura (y si, con muchas waifus que os alegrarán la vista). El combate es muy bueno. Se controla fenomenal, y se siente muy similar a lo visto en la saga Dark Souls, en el buen sentido. Primando el ir con cuidado y castigando muy duramente el ir a lo loco. El sistema de códigos de sangre es un gran acierto, dotando de una gran versatilidad a la hora de hacerte builds, y permitiendo cambiarla en cualquier momento sin problema (es más, el juego incita a ello, a experimentar). Los enemigos tienen una IA muy cabrona, atacando en grupo y cuando bajas la guardia, pero sin sentirse injusto. Y los jefes, salvo un par de excepciones, tienen buen diseño y son imponentes.

Pero también hay otras muy malas. Como una historia que, si bien parte de una premisa atractiva y los primeros capítulos son interesantes; va de más a menos para tener un final muy soso (o al menos el final que me saqué yo, el "bueno"). Buena culpa de ello la tiene el villano principal que es de opereta barata. La dificultad está horriblemente mal diseñada. Si vas con un compañero, que parece que el juego ha sido diseñado así, es muy fácil. Pero si vas solo habrá zonas que serán un auténtico infierno (hay un jefe que es literalmente imposible vencerlo solo). Y sobre todo, un diseño de niveles espantoso. Muy confusos de explorar, con una colocación de checkpoints francamente cuestionable, y muy vacíos.

A veces parece que soy un fanboy de From Software, pero así lo siento. Muy pocos soulslike parecen terminar de entender que es lo que hizo grande a la saga Dark Souls (o no saben plasmarlo). Y este Code Vein, desde luego, no está a la altura. Lo recomendaría solo a muy fans del género, y si lo encuentras muy barato.

PD: Los dlcs son una pérdida de tiempo y dinero. Tres mazmorras no demasiado grandes, con enemigos reciclados pero con el triple de vida y de daño. Cero creatividad. Menos mal que los compré de oferta y me salieron muy baratos.

Sin duda tengo sentimientos encontrados, tenia un hype muy elevado con este titulo pero después de las primeras impresiones que salieron me lo bajaron un poco por ciertas mecánicas y "lentitud" respecto a Eternal.

La verdad que lo de la velocidad ha sido lo de menos, lo he acabado con la 3ra dificultad y si algo tiene el juego es que es muy frenético. Lo que pasa es que se me ha hecho un poco monótono e incluso repetitivo, los últimos niveles ni he intentado sacar el 100 %, quería acabarlo y ya.

Es mas, me volví a descargar Eternal pero voy a descansar un poco de matar demonios y en un futuro le dare otra vuelta.
