From Software recently released new screens from the upcoming Xbox RPG Ootgi. Scheduled to be shown later this month at the Tokyo GameShow 2002, the game is expected to hit Japanese shelves in early 2003. As previously reported, the game will focus on evil samurai warrior named Raiku. Players will seemingly explore different stages and accomplish mercenary-style tasks to progress through the game. According to From Software, the environments will be largely interactive with many breakable objects. Players can inflict damage with a sword, special items, or magic powers. Below are a handful of new screens from an early playable version, stick to XenGamers for continuing coverage.
