Nueva imagen de Duke Nukem Forever

3D Realms lo ha vuelto hacer, ha publicado una nueva y pequeña captura de Duke Nukem Forever, el título del eterno desarrollo. La compañía sigue reclutando trabajadores para un nuevo juego para PC y Xbox 360, no se sabe si se trata de Duke Nukem o de otro título. Por lo que concierne a esta nueva imagen, George Broussard de 3D Realms ha declarado que se trata de una captura in-game.

A mi esto ya me suena a chiste.
poco más y tamaño pin, o es que esa imagen pertenece a la version de nintendo DS?
De verdad alguien espera que ese juego salga a la luz un día?

Hace tiempo que tendrían que haber lapidado a esta banda por tomar el pelo a la gente.

Cuando??? Pues en tiempos del half life 1.Vamos, hechale una docenita de años.
El primer Duke Nukem forever usaría el "nuevo" (en su época) motor de Unreal. El video que sacaron era sorprendente, con duke llevando un escudo de antidisturbios. Ojalá a este juego no le pase como a Prey que, pese a ser un buen titulo, pasó sin pena ni gloria.
Mi móvil tiene más resolución que esa imagen.
Si en el viejo video, duke iba montado en un burro, y tenia unos graficos cojonudos XD

Y antes que eso estaba en desarrollo con el motor de quake2.

La verdad es que me rompen que se empiece a ver algo aunque sea minusculo del juego. Fijo que lo siguiente es un video acojonante para el momento y 2 años despues lo vuelven a retrasarXD

alguien lleva años riendose de nosotros, y de vez en cuando sueltan una imagen y vuelta a las carcajadas.
ejem .... sin comentario sobre la imagen, haber como termina todo esto, no lo veo con buen ojo esto del forever.
Cuando lo empezaron a desarrollar usaban el motor del quake 2 (que por entonces era la ultima novedad), como tardaron tanto pues acabaron cambiando de motor grafico, creo que han pasado por el unreal engine 1, 2 y ahora por ultimo el 3.

Vamos que como minimo ya llevan 4 motores graficos.

Con el prey pasaba algo parecido que lo empezaron haciendo sobre el unreal engine 1 pero modificado para el tema de los portales y acabaron parando el desarrollo, luego en otro momento se pusieron a desarrollarlo otra vez pero cambiando de motor grafico.

Hay un video bastante interesante de una demo tecnica del prey de cuando estaba al principio de su desarrollo (buscar en youtube por ejmplo)

Yo de vez en cuando juego a los antigüos Duke Nuken.... son simplemente increibles para la epoca, los dialogos, la ambientación LOS CERDOS [plas]. No me agrada nada que cada seis meses 3D realms saque una imagen a tamaño pitufo y que no suelten nada de información concreta para eso seria mejor qeu se queden calladitos.
De verdad que parece una coña. Un día de los inocentes alargado durante años y años.

Mira que anunciar este juego con este nombre (DN Forever) tiene guasa. Se llama así por su "eterno" tiempo de desarrollo (si es que de verdad los están desarrollando los de 3d Realms).

Recuerdo el video que venia con el DN Manhatam Project, juegazo que ahi se ha quedado... Es el mayor Vaporware de la historia, mas que el Blade TEoD, y se le llama Duke Nukem Fornever XD

Estos tios son los mejores, con esta imagen ya han superado de lejos lo bien que me lo he pasado con el Duke Nukem Forever que con el Duke Nukem 3D, que ya es decir.

En fin, no existe ningun juego a la altura del Duke Nukem 3D, así de claro.

Y por cierto, el Shenmue 3 SÍ que fue confirmado, y en cualquier caso, no tiene nombre hacerme jugar durante 2 años sin parar a un juego del cual te quedas a cuatro septimos de saber como CJNS acaba.

Al menos los Duke Nukem son autoconclusivos...y tampoco es que el argumento importe demasiado... habrá BABES EXPLOSIONES y VISCERAS y todos tan contentos.

Yo tan solo espero que este a la altura en cuanto a diversión.

Graficamente si es al nivel del jabalí, estupendo pero no pido tanto.
Pues no lleva tiempo en desarrollo, creo que la primera noticia que tuve fué en una micromania que me compré estando yo en la mili, allá por el 97.
Mientras que sea igual o mejor que Duke Nukem 3D me conformo, pero que lo saquen ya!

seamos serios que el juego va a salir, pero yo no compraria la edicion coleccionista ya que saldria a 150 euros con 15 dvds del como se hizo seria como comprar tres temporadas de una serie

La historia tiene mas guasa todavia ya que cambiaron del motor de quake 2 a unreal por las posivilidades que tenia, pero al cambiar tuvieron que tirar todo a la basura. Cuando tenian algo hecho con unreal va y sale half life (ni que decir que en esa epoca a todos los juegos en primera persona los cogio por sorpresa), y asi un desarrollo por niveles tuvo que cambiar a algo que tuviera argumento de ahi el cambio al motor unreal tournament (de cuando se vio un monton de capturas y algun video), pero como los retrasos se acumularon cambiaron al motor de unreal 2, y a partir de ahi el misterio. Se suponia que iba a salir a los seis meses del manhatan project pero algo paso en esa fase de desarrollo. Ahora mismo no se sabe ni que motor usa algunos devs han dicho que es unreal 3 y otros el motor es propio .


La unica verdad de ese juego es que o bate el record de juego en desarrollo (y esperemos que no sea un batacazo como daikatana o ultima 9), o seguira siendo el rey del waporware
