Doy por finalizada mi aventura con Pikmin 4. El juego me ha encantado una barbaridad, he disfrutado cada instante, ahora siento un gran vacio pero bueno, eso es la gran sensación que me ha dejado. Es una saga muy especial y siempre le voy a tener cariño.

Truck Racer

Juego bastante mediocre de carreras de camiones.

Además es corto, pues me ha durado 8 horas. Pero lo más curioso es cómo lo he terminado. Mi primera sesión fue en 2015 a la que le eché par de horas, la segunda sesión en 2020 en la que le eché otras 2 horas y el resto ya ha sido estos días para finiquitarlo.

Pocas opciones, gráficos mediocres hasta para la fecha en la que se lanzó (2013), 6 camiones entre los que elegir y mejorar, conducción totalmente arcade con un pequeño nitro que se carga al "derrapar" en las curvas.

La cosa es que para echar unas carreras locas y cortitas, para lo que vale en oferta, puede valer la pena.

Rejugado muchos años después, para recordar por qué es de esas tan pocas aventuras de la edad dorada que puede mirar tú a tú a las gigantes del género y, concretamente, a Lucasarts. Criticaría algún momento de frustración por un diseño que entonces se aceptaba pero hoy confunde (por ejemplo, buscar en unos escombros y encontrar una cosa, cuando lo que hay que hacer es volver a buscar por que hay más cosas allí, sin que el personaje te lo diga) y un doblaje al que ya se le ha cogido cariño por mítico pero en realidad, sobretodo con las entonaciones, canta bastante incluso en los personajes principales. Pero bueno, esos son los motivos por lo que no le doy el 10, por que por lo demás es impecable: la historia engancha muchísimo, el humor funciona y combina con un tono general mucho más serio que en las de Lucas, el número de localizaciones y su detalle es altísimo... una gozada.
A ver si sigo con la saga (que sólo jugué a los dos primeros)

Otra rápida pasada a este juego. Me llevé una muy buena impresión en su día y aunque ha envejecido bastante mal, sobretodo por ser en una saga que ha ido cambiando mucho y ahora se sienta algo obsoleto, sigue siendo muy disfrutable
@Hangla Mangla si solo has jugado a los dos primeros Broken Sword, te recomiendo que no sigas y te quedes con ese buen sabor de boca.

Sin ser un mal juego, me ha parecido algo flojillo y unos escalones por debajo de lo que podría ofrecer esta consola. Los niveles no son muy inspirados ni retantes, y su mayor aliciente es la rejugabilidad para descubrir los tesoros y los capítulos alternativos

Aprovechando su lanzamiento en Gamepass he querido darle una oportunidad a este metroidvania con estética cyberpunk al cual le llevaba siguiendo la pista hacía tiempo. El juego desde luego no defrauda para cualquier amante del género, rápidamente te haces a las habilidades del prota y a medida que vas desbloqueando nuevas armas y habilidades aprendes a combinar el uso de las armas para ataques mortíferos sobre tus enemigos. La historia no es nada del otro mundo contada a base de diálogos y cortas secuencias CGI que no entiendo porque se ven a menor resolución que el resto del juego. Además, la mayoría de texturas tardan en cargar nada más entrar en una nueva fase y algunos personajes no tienen voz mientras que otros sí, son pequeños inconvenientes que entorpecen un poco la experiencia. El gameplay es bastante frenético, sobretodo una vez pasas el 50% del juego aproximadamente y los escenarios son variados y tendrás que estar pendiente del mapa para lograr encontrar todos los secretos a obtener, como viendo siendo habitual en cualquier metroidvania. Lo mejor seguramente sean las luchas contra final bosses, sobretodo hacia el final se vuelven todo un reto (sólo hay dificultad normal y fácil, yo he jugado en normal). Alguno se me ha hecho cuesta arriba, pero a base de memorizar sus ataques y aprender a afrontarles de la manera más estratégica usando nuestras armas no habrá rival que se nos resista. Se agradece que en numerosas fases o escenarios el juego cambia sus mecánicas con plataformeo o pequeños puzles, para que no resulte excesivamente monótono. Tras 17 horas y cerca del 80% del juego completado decido dejarlo de lado para dedicar mi tiempo a otros juegos pendientes. Amantes de metroidvanias estilo el último Metroid Dread o Shadow Complex, tenéis una cita pendiente con F.I.S.T.

The Killer Frequency es una de las mayores decepciones que me he dado en mucho tiempo. Premisa de terror con radio, música, elementos que recuerdan a Until Down era algo que me llamaba muchísimo la atención. Sin embargo me he encontrado con un juego algo simple, ñoño, y previsible en ocasiones. Buenas ideas, mala ejecución. Una pena.

Celete. Qué decir que no se haya dicho... Por fin le doy. Ha sido una gratísima experiencia y un dolor en los capítulos 8 y 9. Que por cierto... 15 corazones para el final verdadero!!?? ufff pues va a ser que el DLC Farewell se queda sin terminar. [buenazo]

SOMA es increíble, así de claro. Si buscáis una historia de ciencia ficción que os atrape y os lleve por un viaje inolvidable sin duda es vuestro juego. En todos los años que llevo jugando pocos juegos me han atrapado tanto con una narrativa tan potente y original. Me lo he pasado en dos días, con eso os lo digo todo de lo mucho que me ha maravillado. Es difícil hablar de SOMA sin entrar en spoilers, así que mi consejo es que lo juguéis lo más vírgenes posibles, sabiendo lo mínimo sobre él, así cada revelación en su historia os impactará más. SOMA es un juego bastante minimalista, en el que básicamente lo único que podemos hacer es movernos, correr y coger objetos. Esto es un punto a favor pero también negativo creo yo, ya que donde más cojea este juego es justamente en su gameplay. Las situaciones en las que nos pone se solventan de manera sencilla, no podemos atacar (sólo escondernos), y es inevitable acordarse del magistral Alien Isolation cuando jugaba a SOMA. Al compararlo con Alien, SOMA queda en muy segundo plano, dado que la tensión que genera Alien pocos juegos la alcanzan, y SOMA se siente bastante inferior en lo que al juego del escondite se refiere. La I.A. de los enemigos de SOMA es pobre, y el hecho de que aun jugando en modo normal (dificultad por defecto) podamos sobrevivir a un par de "golpes" hace que las situaciones en las que nos enfrentemos a ellos no se sientan tan temibles como cuando huíamos despavoridos del Alien en Isolation.

Pero donde SOMA brilla de manera magistral es en su historia. Una historia que bien podría ser llevada al cine y donde te cuestionas muchos de los dilemas morales que el juego plantea. Además algo que me ha encantado es la manera en que cuenta la historia; no existen cinemáticas, todo se cuenta in-game a base de textos, fotos, audios y donde el propio mundo y su atmósfera esconden en cada rincón detalles relacionados con la historia. En este aspecto me ha recordado mucho a Half-Life, donde la historia se contaba de manera similar, todo en primera persona y sin CGI ni cutscenes. Al final el jugador es el que decide cuanto quiere averiguar sobre la historia y su curiosidad por explorar cada rincón del mundo ficticio creado. Hablando de mundo su atmósfera y sonidos son de 10, bastante clave jugarlo con cascos o un buen equipo de sonido. Además el juego nos pone en todo tipo de situaciones y diferentes localizaciones a lo largo de las 12h que me ha durado, haciendo que en ningún momento el juego se sienta monótono y queráis proseguir en la aventura. SOMA además ofrece varios puzles para proseguir o abrir puertas, puzles sencillos que me recuerdan a los puzles de Alien Isolation y que ayudan a romper el ritmo de tensión que predomina en el juego.

En general un viaje inolvidable que recordaré por mucho tiempo y que recomiendo encarecidamente que probéis. Su gameplay es lento y su historia densa, desde luego no es un juego enfocado a los que busquen acción a raudales. Cojea en algunos aspectos jugables pero su historia te atrapa y no te suelta hasta el final. Ojalá más juegos así. Es el primer juego de Frictional Games que pruebo y ahora me muero de ganas de hincarle el diente a su saga Amnesia (que sé que a nivel narrativo no es tan potente como este SOMA). Si ya habéis jugado a SOMA y os gustó os recomiendo que probéis Observation, otro juegazo como la copa de un pino con una fascinante historia de ciencia ficción que atrapa como la de SOMA.

Lo sacan del GP esta quincena y lo tenia pendiente. Gracias a que es cortito y es adrenalina pura, se pasa en un pispas, la historia sin ser la leche, esta entretenida y lo bueno es que es bastante rejugable.

Me lo pasé genial jugando al Ys VIII y decidido jugar otro más de la saga. Ha sido una pequeña decepción comparado con YS VIII, sin apenas exploración, con una historia que parece sacada del relleno de algún anime mediocre y un combate no tan divertido. Sigue siendo entretenido y frenético, y hasta se me ha hecho corto al terminarlo, pero desde luego parece que no es mi tipo de juego

- Eastward (Series X) > Apenas juego ya pixel art, no me llaman, pero este Eastward es muy potente con su diseño único y detallismo, lo mejor del juego. La jugabilidad sencilla pero el mazmorreo es divertido y disfrutable. El problema ha sido la decepción total en cuánto a historia, se me ha hecho bolísima acabarlo.

A ver, el quinto no está mal, luego está la director's cut del uno que tiene bastantes cosas diferentes, por ejemplo, empiezas jugando con Nicole, y luego hay un fan made que es el broken sword 2.5 que tampoco está mal, aunque obviamente 1 y 2 son los mejores con diferencia, es su momento dorado, pero los demás que he comentado están bien si tienes mono.





3 y 4 son considerados malos por el 3D, pierden esa esencia estética, pero no creo que sean malos juegos tampoco, aunque perdieron el atractivo, para que luego digan que el apartado visual no es importante en un juego.
Gracias a ambos por las recomendaciones. Al 5 seguramente le de una oportunidad y le echaré un ojo, por mera curiosidad, a ese 2.5, de los 3D me tiran un poco para atrás por que todas las aventuras gráficas que jugué con control 3D me ha parecido que restaba más que sumaba.

TLOZ: TEARS OF THE KINGDOM: 10
Hubo mucha polémica cuando los 10 de la prensa, pero como soy un simple usuario, me puedo permitir una opinión totalmente subjetiva: PARA MÍ, sí es un 10. Por que me ha dado todo lo que le pedía, y todo lo que necesitaba que tuviera, y no hubo nada que echase especialmente en falta. Coge a un gigante y lo pule y amplifica. Las 140 horas que le he metido, sin ser yo absolutamente nada completista, es mi record absoluto en un videojuego, y de larguísimo (al Breath of the Wild y al The Witcher 3, los que más hasta ahora, le había metido algo más de 100). Algo querrá decir.

Bastante decepcionante comparado con el primer que me gustó mucho. Recicla la fórmula de su anterior título, pero se queda en un quiero y no puedo. Jugabilidad un tanto confusa, bugs, animaciones parecidas a las de PS3 etc. Mola que sea un juego futurista, pero en el anterior título molaba todavía más. La estética era más oscura y l ciudad futurista de Detroit, a mi me llama más la atención. No digo que sea un juego del todo malo, pero si muy mediocre a mi modo de ver.

DISNEY'S ALADDIN (Mega Drive): 7,5
Tras las 140 horas de Tears of the Kingdom me apetecía algo bastante ligero y tras ver en HLTB que duraba apenas 2 horas (y en efecto son 10 fases bastante cortas) decidí ponerme al fin con un clásico de los 16-Bits al que le tenía ganas hace tiempo (en su momento jugué, creo que no terminé, el de SNES, pero nunca tuve Mega Drive). Es brutal como de bien ha envejecido a nivel técnico, por no decir que no lo ha hecho en absoluto, con esos sprites enormes y unas animaciones de todos los personjes absolutamente espectaculares. Es magia negra meter esto en una 16bits. A nivel mecánicas, eso sí, es muy básico (básicamente hay 3 botones: saltar, atacar con la espada y lanzar manzanas), pero bastante divertido casi siempre pese a unos picos de dificultad un poco extraños y que se sienten un poco injustos.

Ravenlok es una aventura ligera con una clara inspiración en el mundo de Alicia en el país de las maravillas, cumple y resulta entretenido, pero poco más. Y A Short Hike es una experiencia interesante, pero demasiado corta para mi gusto, lo que hace que no llegue a lucir como probablemente se merece. [oki]

Sin ser muy de juegos de suspense, he disfrutado el juego de principio a fin. Destaco lo satisfactorio que es el cargarse a los poseídos, la esquiva y que la historia te deja en estado continuo de intriga hasta los créditos finales. En el lado negativo, los capítulos carecen a veces de cierta conexión dentro de los mismos y se hacen largos.
