- Cuphead (PC): 6. Sintiendolo mucho, le tenía muchas ganas desde hace tiempo pero la dificultad me ha podido. Es parte de la gracia del juego pero me ha podido, lo siento.

Sencillamente brutal. Mi consejo es que lo juguéis conociendo lo mínimo sobre él. Sin duda uno de los juegos más originales que he tenido el placer de jugar. Jon McKellan se la ha vuelto a sacar, su previo Stories Untold ya me pareció una genialidad, con una narrativa y jugabilidad completamente diferente, pero es que aquí en Observation va más allá, con una historia que te atrapa desde el minuto uno y no dejas de preguntarte qué carajos está pasando. Su desenlace final me ha parecido soberbio. En Observation controlamos la inteligencia artificial de una nave y a través de puzles y las diferentes cámaras de la nave deberemos ayudar a nuestra tripulación para saber que está ocurriendo. Su gameplay me ha parecido muy original, y la atención al detalle en las diferentes interfaces de la IA así como lo cuidada que está la ambientación de la nave hará que el juego te enganche enseguida. Algunos puzles han resultado algo difíciles, ya que en ocasiones cuesta saber que tenemos que hacer (quizá han sido 2 o 3 veces las ocasiones en las que me he visto bastante bloqueado). Es un juego lento y denso, no recomendado para todo el mundo, ya que aquí se trata más de usar la cabeza que la habilidad al mando. Una ambientación de 10 estilo Interstellar, Alien o 2001 Odisea del Espacio, para amantes de juegos estilo Her Story, Alien Isolation o puzles. Jugadlo.

Jugué al 2 hace muchos años, y me esperaba que el 1 fuera más limitado, pero no recuerdo muchas diferencias a nivel de trampas y objetos. Me gustó más el 2, tal vez porque era el primer juego de este tipo que probé, pero el 1 sigue siendo muy muy disfrutable.

No soy muy fan de los superheroes pero este es un juegazo, me ha gustado mucho más que spiderman de PS4 que lo tengo a medias casi a nada terminar pero me da mucha pereza. Las mecánicas son simples pero encajan a la perfección, está lleno de frases aleatorias en todo momento, visualmente es una belleza, la linealidad del juego y su historia lo hacen un juego muy entretenido.

Juego redondo en su género. Impecable en todos sus apartados. Jugabilidad, gráficos, sonido, doblaje. Sin fisuras.

Lo que todo juego de plataformas y acción debería ser. Gráficos excelentes pueden acompañar a una perfecta jugabilidad.

Una pena porque no he podido empatizar con la narrativa planteada. Aunque creo que ha sido más por mí mismo que por el juego en sí. Este tipo de juegos que intenta apelar a las emociones depende en demasía de cómo se siente el jugador y qué experiencias ha vivido. Y pienso que yo lo he jugado en un momento personal en el que no tendría que haberlo hecho.

Tocó el momento de jugar al Genesis Noir en el Game Pass. Tenía ganas de meterle mano a esta aventura point and click principalmente por su llamativo apartado visual al que accedí sin apenas información previa y por tratarse de un juego corto. Sin embargo, se me hizo un poco bola por su nivel de abstracción y surrealismo tratando un tema como el Big Bang y teorías metafísicas en el viaje del protagonista por el universo. La música y el diseño ayudan a seguir y desear llegar a su parte final para descubrir el misterio presentado. Una curiosidad audiovisual que en mi opinión falla en la narrativa al ser demasiado surrealista.
Solo llevo 2, Memoir Blue y Artful Escape en PS5, estrené hace poco la consola.

Juego de mecánica sencilla, retrete y agradecida pre-siesta. Aquí nos desplazamos (hacia arriba) mediante saltos y rebotes en enemigos, paredes y vasijas, buscando preparar la receta mediante frutas que recogemos para alimentar a nuestro compañero de partida, que no dudará en eliminarnos si no utilizamos los ingredientes apropiados. Es sencillo, es rápido, es gratificante, y lo más importante, es divertido.

Nuestro personaje ira evolucionado mediante distintos ítems que compraremos con la moneda del juego, sumando saltos y mejoras que nos harán el camino más fácil pero con mucho más flow. No te resultará raro llegar a un punto donde de un único combo logres tu objetivo.

Si tienes Netflix y buscas un juego divertido para el móvil, Poinpy es un gran elección.

Juego con buena trama y buena ambientación. Eso es lo más destacable y lo que le salva de la quema absoluta. Lo malo es casi todo lo demás. No es un juego que esté bien pulido. Muy repetitivo, jugabilidad mala, gráficos malillos, fallos en el guardado, bugs, caídas de frames, en ocasiones no sabes muy bien a donde ir porque no es intuitivo, la IA además de mala, parece que tome las decisiones que tú tomas por ti, haciendo que tus decisiones al final no sean las que se reflejan a lo largo del juego. En fin, creo que toca venderlo.

De momento es el que más me ha gustado de los actuales, me ha encantado ese toque táctico de entrar en equipo a edificios y casas, donde te encuentras civiles. Realmente no merece la nota que le he puesto por la poca duración que tiene el juego, pero lo valoro por el entretenimiento que me ha producido y en ningún momento me he aburrido, me lo he pasado casi del tirón.

De estos juegos de conducción "indie" que molan bastante aunque sean cortitos. Lo bueno de éste es que aparte del modo campeonato, aunque sea de rally, tiene el modo carrera para competir contra otros coches, el modo contrarreloj típico y el multijugador.

Hollow Knight: después de sudar sangre, los 3 finales hechos de este juegazo, 50 horitas de mi vida se ha llevado. He mirado varias veces la guía porque de otra manera no lo saco (el puto doble salto no lo encontraba), el mapa es un laberinto gigante con multitud de caminos cortados y creo que deberían haber dado algunas pistas o algo, el rollo souls de no guiarte una mierda me parece excesivo en este juego.

Quitando eso, un juego soberbio en jugabilidad y diseño artístico.

Que tarden unos meses en sacar la 2ª parte porque necesito recuperarme mental y físicamente [+risas]

Que juego más disfrutón. Era inevitable no probar este juego en el Game Pass tras las reviews tan positivas y el efecto nostálgico de los que crecimos con la serie de animación y las pelis. Se trata de un yo contra el barrio de manual, en el que vamos derrotando enemigos a medida que adquirimos nuevas habilidades y poderes. Se aprecia el amor por la franquicia, por los personajes y la influencia de los juegos arcade de los noventa. Hacía muchos años que no jugaba a una historia en cooperativo y ha sido una vuelta bonita a esas tardes de la infancia entre meriendas y super nintendos. El juego en su modo historia se puede acabar en unas 3/4 horas y la dificultad es bastante accesible comparado con otros beat'em ups. El mimo en las animaciones y en la personalidad de los protagonista y de los enemigos te hace soltar más de una carcajada.

Me ha decepcionado bastante. Me ha gustado más que Deadlight, pero se me ha hecho pesado para lo corto que es. Además los controles en PC con teclado y ratón son bastante raros y pegaba bajones de frames al cambiar de habitación. La historia no me ha parecido más allá, aunque la ambientación sí me ha gustado.

Me lo esperaba corto, pero no tanto (menos de 4h). Podría haberlo alargado comprando más mejoras, pero al final siempre era lo mismo, mejoras de vida, agua, luz y nada más.
El juego me ha gustado pero ha llegado un momento en el que se me empezaba a hacer repetitivo sobretodo por el tema de las mejoras, y que no hubieran más cosas nuevas.
Igualmente es interesante la vuelta de tuerca al Dig Dug.

Llevo desde Mayo con él, me lo habían dejado meses atrás y me gustó, aprovechando la versión PS5 lo compré y menudo come horas de juego, entremedias terminé un par de juegos porque si no era una locura. Ya hacía tiempo que no le metía más de 100 horas a un juego, muy entretenido, el juego engancha, lo llevas con mucha calma y a la vez hay días que lo odias, muy recomendable.

God of War (2018)
Mi segunda vuelta. Tremendo. No lo jugaba desde que salió, tocaba darle pre Ragnarok, y qué absoluto juegarro. Qué tremendamente bien está diseñado y qué pasada de gameplay e historia. A nadie le puede extrañar que esto fuera juego del año en 2018.

La virgen, que bizarrada. Creo que lo que más me ha chocado ha sido ver en movimiento tantos personajes y situaciones grotescos. Me ha encantado el sentido del humor del juego y el uso de los cuadros, aunque cuesta un poco meterse en la cabeza que estás jugando a una aventura gráfica sobretodo a la hora de buscar objetos. Lo malo es que dura muy poco (menos de 1,5h en mi caso, aunque me he quedado atascado).

Mi primer juego de terror de este estilo y... vale, guay. Me gustan los elementos survival horror, pero estar tan desprotegido por mucho que aumente la tensión sí es cierto que le quita algo de diversión. Si me animo jugaré el primer Outlast.

gloria bendita este Psychonauts 2. uno de los mejores videojuegos que he jugado en los últimos 10-12 años. solo superado por cosas como P5R, TLOU2, Bloodborne, God of War, Nier Automata, XC2, BOTW, DQXI, Horizon y RE2. no ha habido nada del juego que no me haya gustado y todo me ha parecido perfecto. sobre todo el diseño en general y los personajes. es una puta obra maestra y una obra de arte.

Cortito (apenas dura 2 horas) pero gráficamente decente y con una buenísima banda sonora. El plataformeo y los puzzles son muy intuitivos. Juego bastante entretenido. Ya el modo experto lo dejo para otra vida. Pasarte los 20 niveles con un solo intento...

Isla de Iki

Se hace bastante corto (unas 10 horas) para lo que me dio de sí en su momento el juego. Platinarlo sí me llevó un par de horas más. Ojalá lo hubiera jugado en PS5 porque se ve de una calidad sublime y va suave como la seda en todo momento. Otra obra de arte de Sony.

Juego que se va directo a mi top y no le doy el 10 porque reconozco que las pequeñas partes de acción y una gran parte de los jefes EV me sobran. Lo demás me parece tan perfecto para mi que se ha convertido en uno de mis juegos favoritos. Ahora se viene tocho.

Advertir de que es un juego muy lento y árido en sus primeras horas (yo necesitaba algo así) y cuya mécanica más importante es el desplazamiento. Puede parecer que eso implica poco jugablemente si uno tiene en cuenta que en la mayoría de juegos de mundo abierto el mapa es un menú camuflado en el que lo único que hay que hacer es apuntar con la palanca adelante. Aquí el desplazamiento te mantiene atento la tracción sobre el terreno es esencial, al mismo tiempo el juego te va llevando a nuevos entornos que hacen que el reto de desplazarse siempre tenga algo nuevo que darte. Esto hace que integres cada piedra del mundo en tu cabeza como pocos juegos saben hacer. Al mismo tiempo varios de los momentos jugables mas maravillosos que he vivido se han dado mediante narrativa emergente en estas caminatas. Guardo muchas anécdotas de estos momentos que me han hecho reír y desesperarme a partes iguales. Todos estos desplazamientos saben recompensarte cuando llegas a una cima, disfrutas de la llegada placentera a tu destino mientras suena música, cuando conectas la zona y ves las estructuras de los demás que te ayudarán a volver y a la vez preparas nuevas estructuras para ayudarte a ti y a otros...

A nivel de historia sigue un proceso similar a la jugabilidad y es que ambas van de la mano continuamente. Al principio es árido y cuesta ubicarse, mucha información lanzada que nos descoloca pero poco a poco de forma natural todo coge sentido en nuestra cabeza. No quiero revelar nada en este aspecto, simplemente decir que me ha emocionado en muchos momentos. También me encantas las pequeñas historias personales de los personajes y como están contadas, es habitual que veamos historias de personajes "incompletas"... A veces vemos como se inician, otras veces asistimos al nudo y al desenlace sin tener claro como se iniciaron o incluso se nos priva del desenlace (aunque en los mails puede uno saciar esa curiosidad). Me gusta esa forma de narrar ya que lo más importante por encima de conocer cada detalle es el concepto que nos lanza en cada una de ellas.

Y el concepto principal en el que Kojima insiste en todos los aspectos del juego es la importancia de establecer y recuperar vínculos. Todo esta plagado de ello desde los cordones que conectan a los EV a los que conectan a Sam con BB... la jugabilidad nos muestra primero lo duro del camino en soledad y una vez conectamos la zona vemos como una mano amiga las estructuras de otros que pasarón antes, como nos alegra a veces una simple escalera puesta en el camino o una cuerda de otro que se despeño montaña abajo antes que tu y que en su camino por salvarse contribuye a tu propia salvación. Quizá uno de los motivos por los que me ha gustado tanto este juego es por la importancia que le da a esto de los vínculos y que en mi opinión comparte ese concepto con el que es mi juego favorito, Final Fantasy IX. Lígero spoiler sobre Final Fantasy 9:El que haya jugado recordará como tanto nuestros personajes como el villano tienen mucho en común y que son los vínculos que los unen o la ausencia de ellos la clave para que sus caminos sean tan opuestos, lo que es especialmente notorio entre Kuja y Yitán o el mismo Vivi Fin de spoiler. Me parece un mensaje muy potente y que me ha calado fuertemente.

PD: Otro motivo por lo que me resulta difícil ser objetivo es que este juego me ha hecho revivir el mejor viaje que hice hace 4 años con mi novia a Islandia. Un mes recorriendo la isla, caminos imposibles en autocaravana, andando y en todoterreno recompensados con unos paisajes increibles y momentos de paz inigualables. Si Kojima se inspiro después de viajar a Islandia doy fé de que recoge perfectamente la sensación. Además hay lugares que aunque no son iguales es muy fácil averiguar a que lugar concreto hace referencia.

De acuerdo en todo, y algo así pensé cuando lo jugué. Lo único que le hecho un poco en cara a Kojima con Death Stranding es no haberse atrevido (es una manera de hablar, no digo que su idea no fuera siempre esta por que no lo se) a llevar al límite la idea que hay tras Death Stranding y liberarlo totalmente de combates. Para mí sería totalmente lógico y vale, el juego sería café para muy cafeteros sin combates... ¡pero es que ya lo es con ellos! XD

    Pasado el juego principal, me falta el post game, aunque veo que hay que completar casi 60 lunas más de cara al final total del juego, y soy poco de platinar o completar tanto hasta la extenuación juegos, así que seguramente lo deje aquí. Jugando este juego en 2022, te das cuenta de que este juego sienta las bases del Odyssey. Hay mucho Galaxy en el Odyssey. En algunas cosas este Galaxy esta por encima del Odyssey, y en muchas otras el Odyssey está bastante por encima del Galaxy, cosa también normal, por la diferencia de años entre unos y otro. Sigue siendo un juegazo a día de hoy, con mécanicas muy innovadoras, y una creatividad desbordante en los mundos que visitamos. El control sigue siendo muy preciso, aunque esa camára no 100% libre le penaliza mucho. Y personalmente, me mareaba un poco tanto giro de pantalla por la gravedad de los planetas. Por otra parte, también he agradecido que no fuera un mundo abierto, y más hacia un estilo clásico, de ir consiguiendo una luna tras otra en diferentes planetas para poder avanzar.

    Una pena que no se puede jugar al Galaxy 2 en Switch, sería mi siguiente juego a jugar. Ahora me debato entre emularlo en PC, o intentarlo en móvil. Aunque lo he intentado aquí, y pega unos bajonazos de fps que echan para atrás. Hay que reconocer que el Galaxy se ve y se siente muy bien en las manos en Nintendo Switch.

MONKEY ISLAND II: LECHUCK'S REVENGE: 10
Para mí, la mejor aventura gráfica de la historia y en el olimpo de los mejores videojuegos en general. Bastante dificultad pero pocos puzzles injustos, preciosa de ver y, sobretodo, un guión espectacular. Es cierto que el final, aunque brillante, parece complicar las cosas para un hasta hace poco teórico MI3 (por eso Lucasarts decidió ignorarlo por completo, fingir que nunca había sucedido y sólo ahora, 20 años después, veremos la continuación), pero la clave seguramente está, ya casi no la recordaba, en la escena post-créditos.

Actualizo con el juego de Peppa Pig, al que jugué con mi pareja un poco por las risas y tal gracias al Game Pass. Es un juego que a un niño pequeño le puede hacer el apaño, aunque me parece increíble que lo haya llegado a ver por 30€ cuando literalmente se tarda 1 hora y media o incluso menos en que te salgan los créditos (aunque lógicamente esto a un niño pequeño le va a importar bien poco y lo más probable es que lo juegue y lo juegue). Pues eso, bien para echar el rato de risas con otro adulto y aportando cierto humor.

En cuanto al Halo, para qué mentir, se le notan los años. Esto es un problema típico de cuando se juegan grandes clásicos taaaanto tiempo después. Evidentemente, jugar esto al principio de los 2000 tuvo que ser una auténtica pasada, pero se le notan algunas costuras a día de hoy. Por ejemplo, hay veces que los saltos no son lo preciso que uno querría o que se dan muertes absurdas (como que te caiga una nave del cielo). También hay algunas misiones que pecan de repetir y repetir continuamente el mismo escenario y la misma mecánica. Pese a ello, se deja jugar perfectamente, y eso ya es de valorar teniendo en cuenta que han pasado 20 años. Como puntos positivos, la IA está bastante bien (con distintas personalidades en función del tipo de enemigo) y también tiene cierto dote estratégico al tener que elegir las armas que más daño le van a hacer a cada tipo de enemigo. En cualquier caso, es completamente entendible por qué este juego supuso lo que supuso, y sigue siendo totalmente recomendable a día de hoy siempre y cuando tengamos en cuenta todo lo anterior y el tiempo que ha pasado. Me alegro de haberlo jugado y estoy expectante por seguir indagando en esta saga clásica.

- Forza Horizon 5: Hotwheels (PC): 5. Me parece lamentable que la primera expansión (teniendola pagada desde hace meses) sea una copia de la que ya vimos en el 4. Aún así me veo obligado a aprobarlo pues está bien ejecutada pero no le pegaba nada a un juego como este.
- Grid Legends (PC): 7,5. Buen juego que se ve lastrado por unos menus tediosos y un modo historia que creo que no importa a nadie. Con lo bien que estaba el primer grid teniendo que dirigir nuestro propio equipo, comprando coches nuevos o de segunda mano... Una pena pero, por lo menos EA todavía no lo ha roto.
- Evil Genius 2 (Steam Deck): 6. Otro al que le tenía muchas ganas pero que vistos los comentarios he preferido esperar y veo que no me arrepiento en absoluto, repetitivo, con pocas opciones y poco o ningún aliciente para seguir jugando. En la deck funciona muy bien pero lo diminuto de su pantalla pone las cosas muy díficiles de ver y controlar.

En su género, está entre los mejores. Forjado en torno a una relación magistralmente escrita (e interpretada) entre el protagonista y el único otro personaje del juego, al que nunca ves, es conmovedor, emocionante y, cuando tiene que serlo, realmente intrigante.

Iba con predisposición a disfrutar porque este juego a priori tiene muchas cosas que me gustan y es raro que no me guste un juego de plataformas pero uff, no he podido con Sunshine... Gráficamente es bonito y mantiene el tipo, la ambientación playera me gusta y venía de haber jugado al 64 hace unas semanas, que me pareció un juego genial y sobretodo con un control excelente en lo que el simple hecho de moverse es agradable y divertido, como sucede en casi todos los Marios. Pero lo que me he encontrado aquí es:

- Un control que tiene "algo" que pese al amplio catálogo de movimientos y combinaciones lo siento impreciso, rígido y sobreacelerado, imperdonable en un Mario. Toda la fluidez de 64, Galaxy, 3D u Odyssey se va al garete con este Mario Speedico... Es bastante dependiente del ACUAC que además del Jetpack tiene otros poderes a los que apenas se les saca partido salvo para hacerte perder el tiempo para llegar a la entrada de un nivel.

- La cámara es un horror. En esta ocasión es cámara libre pero es fácil que se quede dentro de un edificio o palmera y te tape a Mario totalmente, hay momento en los que tienes que maniobrar cámara y saltos en zonas pequeñas y es insoportable.

- Los niveles son amplios, la faceta de exploración de los escenarios está bien (en este sentido sería un Mario tipo Odyssey) pero la parte plataformera en estos escenarios para mi es fallida... En prácticamente cualquier Mario siento que los escenarios están perfectamente diseñados para aprovechar todos los movimientos de Mario de forma fluida, aquí noto que las plataformas están puestas al tuntún y que el único movimiento que aprovechan es el salto y planeo con el ACUAC... También falta contenido suplido con mucha repetición de situaciones. El juego quiere que saques 7 soles mínimo por nivel y te encuentras con que no tiene ideas suficientes para ello: Persecución tediosa a Mario Oscuro en cada nível, níveles retro (que me han gustado pero a años luz de otros Marios más plataformeros) en los que se siente que este Mario necesita más movimientos sin ACUAC y una enorme repetición de enfrentamientos contra subjefes bastante anodinos. Hay mundos en los que varias estrellas consisten en el mismo enfrentamiento (quien dio e visto bueno al pulpo?). Salvo de la quema a Bowser mecánico de la montaña rusa y Rey Boo. El camino final hacía Bowser es de risa, 0 imaginación y mucho de intentar putear sin éxito al jugador. El combate final facilísimo y aburrido en el que algún diseñador recordó que la mochila tiene más poderes de propulsión aparte del Jet Pack.

- Creo que es el único Mario en el que he sentido que no respetaban mi tiempo. Para el simple hecho de acceder a un nivel retro tener que encontrar la fruta que quiere Yoshi, montarlo y usarlo 10 segundos para entrar en el nivel es desesperante... O peor aún, hay un nível oculto en una isla al que sólo se puede acceder con Yoshi saltando a dos barcos, consiste en mirar la pantalla 5 minutos sin caerse al cambiar de barco para no repetir todo el tedio y todo para hacer un nível de monedas rojas soso que se completa en 20 segundos. De las monedas azules mejor no mencionar nada.

Le he sacado lo imprescindible a base de partidas cortitas, quizá le haga los retos de velocidad en los níveles retro y se acabó. Comentar que lo empecé en Switch pero el "port" me parece hecho con la ley del mínimo esfuerzo y al final he seguido en la Steam Deck con los controles normales y mejoras visuales y de fluidez.

PD: Aún con todo lo dicho la idea del Acuac no me parece del todo mala, seguro que si hubiera salido en Wii con disparo libre mediante wiimote sería mucho más interesante... Aquí noto un juego con ideas, que quiere salir del confort pero que falla.

Un juego muy entretenido que pone en valor que la dificultad no es el único elemento que hace a un juego divertido. Es un juego sencillo pero con un estilo artístico bonito y, aun así, unos puzles interesantes. Lo peor la optimización para Series X, con muchas bajadas de fps, aunque en mi caso no han sido motivo para dejar de jugar.

Un juego curioso pero bastante sosillo. Para ser tan corto hay momentos en los que se hace hasta pesado con lo de tener que estar hablando con los robots en los poblados. Juego de plataformas gráficamente correcto, con algo de acción y puzzles muy sencillos. Un paseo literalmente... siendo un gato.

Segundo juego que me paso íntegramente en Steam Deck.

Jamás me lo había pasado, pero le tengo un gran cariño por ser el primer juego que jugué en mi primera visita a un ciber allá por el año 2001 o 2002.

Y al fin me lo he pasado, y joder, me ha parecido ESPECTACULAR.

A ver, sí, está todo muy superado, pero el carisma de Max, la forma de contar la historia, la banda sonora, lo increiblemente divertido que es el tiempo bala...y por supuesto el factor nostalgia, han hecho que la experiencia haya sido maravillosa. Creo que va directamente al top 10 de mi vida.
