Para coders y programadores varios:

GBAX.COM 2003
GBA and GP32 Coding Competition

Information
You can submit either a Game or Emulator for use on either the GameBoy Advance (GBA) and GamePark32 (GP32). We have decided against allowing Demos to be entered as its very difficult to judge against Game or Emulators.

Judging
There will be four judges for the competition. Craig (GBAX), Guyfawkes, Costis and Woo (GBAEmu/GP32Emu/EmuXbox). Judging will be set out as follows:

After the closing date all the judges will view the entries. We will then meet up to discuss each entry. After this we will then mark each entry out of ten. After each entry has been marked we will collate these and the winners and runner ups will be decided from the highest points to the lowest.

Prizes
Winners will receive:
1st Place: $150 & GBA-SP Console
2nd $150 and 3rd $100 respectively
+ all receive a Game Wallet & 128MB SMC or something else of their choice (eg. XG Flash kit, TVtuner, MP3 Player...)

We have decided that the number of runners up will be decided from the quality of the entries. All good entries will receive a prize such has a Flash Cartridge, Game Wallet, TV Tuner etc.

A number of runners up will receive a registered version of HAM (http://www.ngine.de/) , a great GBA development kit.

All other entries will receive something eg. GBA Skin set, GBA Camera, Battery pack...

Rules
- The closing date of the competition is March 17th, all entries must be submitted by this date to gbax2003@gbaemu.com with the subject 'GBAX.COM 2003 Entry'.
- A 'readme.txt' containing the following information should be included with the entry: Your name, email address and a brief description of the entry.
- There should be a splash screen or a mention of the competitions name 'GBAX.COM 2003' and also 'www.gbaemu.com' in the game or emulator.
- Your entry must be fully working on hardware as this is what all entries must be judged on.
- There is no limit on the file size of the entry.
- You can enter a violent game if you want to :)
- If you want to enter a utility you can.
- Emulators should not include roms etc. we can find those online ourselves to test your emulator.
- You may port an existing Game or Emulator to either handheld. If you are doing this please try to get permission from the original author as they may not like people possibly winning a prize from their original work. Try using the Resample tool in PSP to convert older graphics to cool 16.7million colour shaded ones.
- Multiple entries can be submitted, but you will only be eligible to win one prize.
- You can form a team for the entry but you will be responsible for sharing the prize(s) between your team.
- No staff or affiliates of CDWorld, GBAEmu or GP32Emu may enter.

Enga a ver esos coders apañoles!!!

Seagal macho usa EOL Powa!!!!

Enga y a ver esa demo!!!

[ginyo]
