Fin del Xlink KAI!! :(

AN OLD HACK RETIRES :)

Friends,
I'm here to announce my immediately effective resignation from the XLink project. I've enjoyed over 2 years of interesting, challenging and fun development on this project, and have had the privilege to work with some of the best people out there - within XLink itself, but also with devs from XboxMediaCenter(info) and Avalaunch(info) alongside many others. I would, of course, like to express the most vociferous appreciation for the XLink administration crew and moderation crew who have enabled the project to do what it has done for years now - lead the field in alternative online gaming. I will sadly miss the gentle company of all those who make the project work, and hope that we can still catch up from time to time on MSN.

I have passed control of this project to a close friend, and hope that he can find the time to assign responsibility to whoever he considers required to ensure that Live! is not the only option for the next generation of online gaming.

Thanks again to everyone who has contributed to this project - and thanks also to anyone who has used our stuff, and got some enjoyment from it. It cheers me to hear that recently, the first baby was born to a couple from America who met while using XLink software... Now, if that wasn't worth working for, nothing was...

"Long may it continue"
Cheers
TD

PS I know, I know - the server is broke.. it should get fixed sometime soon..

[+risas]
