ME SPEAKS ENGLISH GOODLIER THEN JOO OL

And about the discussion, yes, most English education in (Public) Schools sucks, only 2 people from my entire class (17 years old) can write or read english correctly.

Most students here don't want to learn English, and only 3 or 4 passed our final exam in June (1º Bach)

About this thread:

THIS IS EOL!!!!!
I think a good idea to promove the english in EOL (The Other Side) :P would be: when you open a new thread about some subject you can write the title followed by (English Thread).
It would be a way of talk about different subjects in english and increase our vocabulary, the idea is that everybody in that thread wrote in english.

I don't know if you understand what I mean and I hope I haven't done much mistakes here. [angelito]

Edited for mistakes. Thank you Acasa.

PD: What do all you think about my idea?

Of course you have done "errors".

The properly way to call them is mistakes.

I think it wouldn't work, there wouldn't be reasons to permit that and forbid threads in catalán (:-?), vasco (:-?) and gallego (:-?), so this would be crazy, maybe a special forum in EOL for all this languages...

P.D: :-? means I don't know how to translate it and don't want search xD.
"vasco" would be translated as "Basque".
Anyways, if you want to pratice, what you should do is read English books and listen to people speaking in English.
You can even try audiobooks in English so that you can listen and read the book at the same time. That would strongly improve your English.
I think there are forums for language learners around the web, the thing is, I don't know if they are free, or if you have to pay. If someone knows some for English, French or German, please PM (Private Message -usease, MP-) me. :-P

Mean=referirse, querer decir.

I mean= A lo que me refiero, lo que quiero decir. ;)

The past form of "meet" is met ;)
Acasa escribió:Of course you have done "errors".

I'd use "make", instead of "done". Even more, I wouldn't use "properly" but "proper", however I can't assure that the way you wrote the sentence is wrong. But it does sound better with "proper".

Which by the way, reminds me of something. Does it happen to the rest of you guys that you don't know almost any of the rules in english grammar (which incidentally, are *a lot*), yet you somehow manage to write quite correctly? It happens to me, both in english and in spanish XD I always found it funny.

I don't see any mistake: :? means... = :-? significa... (:-? es el sujeto).

But it is present, no past [sati]

ein?
I only have translated the meaning of "mean".

LOL, I though you tried to show me a mistake, but I didn't see it, sorry for the misunderstanding [ginyo].
OMFG no more english threads...

No problem, that is what happen when we talk in a foreign language, you didn't understand me and I didn't understand you. ;)

About my idea: I'm sure Anonimo understand english, I'll ask him if it would be possible.
