Hola!! He vuelto con nuevos ports, gracias a la magia del nuevo RXDK, que nos permite llevar a la negrita cosas con las que ni habríamos soñado antes!! :)

Para empezar, dejo aquí un port del juego Celeste Classic:

@gabbers por supuesto que puedes!! No hace falta que me preguntes, ni para este ni para ninguna de las cosas que haya hecho para Xbox. Claro que puedes ponerlas en tus vídeos. De hecho, tenemos pendiente hacer un vídeo juntos XD

@kanyero , el Rockbot lo porté hace tiempo... ¿vale la pena actualizar el port? Quiero decir, ¿crees que las nuevas versiones aportan cosas nuevas? Si es así, sí que puedo plantearme hacerlo. Recuerdo que fue un port bastante sencillito. Lo que no querría es portarlo y que luego el juego fuera igual que el porté, y que sólo hubieran cambiado cosas como "hacer el código fuente más limpio"... XD

Ahora mismo tengo el problema de que se me ha roto el PC... he conseguido otro, pero aún tengo que reinstalarle todo... pero en un par de semanas volveré a poder hacer ports...

Pues evolucionó bastante. De todos modos creo que merece la pena porque hace un siglo que no salen nuevas versiones, me da que se ha detenido el desarrollo, así que es posible que podamos considerar la actual beta como versión casi final .

After a long and due vacation from developing Rockbot, I’m releasing this (mostly) FINAL version of the game. The changes are quite long, and I tried to restore some functionality that were removed due to Google’s removing the original game from Play Store; like lifes and in-game weapons selection menu.

But more important, I did finish at least Rockbot 2 stages and enemies. While there are still some things I would to add, given the time to do so, this is now a complete game.

There are some defects, like with collision against enemies, but because this is actually beneficial to the player, I left those there for now, as I want to shift my focus to my new game, Project Firefly. Also, some ports like Dingux and PSP are missing, because either I could not get it to build, or it just did not run properly. I will try to get those later.

Changelog:

    #2: Zodiac and Dragon faces are using the old art in stage select screen.
    Defect #138 – Circle projectilew (MageBot) should not be reflected by shield.
    Better adjust in position for Glue.H grabbing the wall.
    Fix hitboxes/vulnerable-area when facing left.
    #2: Adjust hitbox for Kurupira so player can jump over him.
    Some sound effect were ignoring the disabled audio option.
    Lifes and continue/game-over are back.

    When boss-intro is interrupted by timeout, sert animation to avoid locking him into freeze AI state.
    Fix HUD’1s boss text position.
    Weapon and Special tanks were not recharging weapons at all.
    Can now store up to 9 special and weapon tanks.
    Clean input before showing boss dialog.
    Daisie sprites improvements.

Thanks to Yama Droid for the bug reporting.

    Fix destrin rain of bombs exploding on the ceiling.
    Fix invalid AI state that made enemies to stop moving.
    Fly-to-Player was not changing directions to face him.
    Dash effect was not updating when changing directions.
    Removed teleport left by mistake on Spike’s stage.
    Fix error in map-collision old-point using wrong Y.




Rockbot 1.20.75 released

Here is a new release for Rockbot1, with lots of small touches, bug fixes and an incredible new soundtrack by Simone Bernacchia.
Some builds are still being built, so please be patient. Also, my Playstation 2 crashed a while ago, and the replacement I got, just also died, so there is no way I can test the build for this platform right now. Also, there seems to be a problem in OpenDingux with sound not playing, I will investigate when I have more time.

This should be the last update in Rockbot1, unless some really nasty bug is found. From now on, only Rockbot2 will receive any attention.

    New physics system, much closer to Megaman/Rockman.
    Stage sub-bosses, with room that blocks player passage until it is defeated.
    When game is finished, two new characters become available.
    Stage review and redesign.
    Three armor pieces that give each character a different ability.
    New object types:
        Fire beam.
        Death ray.
        Teleporters..
        Block that can be destroyed with explosion.
        Special tank, recharge both hit points and all weapons.
    You can now set the direction (left/right) of an object when placing it on the map in editor.
    Ice terrain with inertia.
    Great optimization in the game with the removel of a duplicate screen updating call.
    Enemy respawn can be defined in the editor.
    Combination of keys down and jump isn’t used for sliding anymore. use button instead.
    Removed stages using different tileset after beaten.
    Fix chain weapon behavior, it now should follow player movement and direction.
    Improvements and correction in game dialogs.

    Improvements in weapons:
        You can activate the bomb by pressing attack button.

Y creo que tu port es incluso anterior (2014) a esas con lo cual hay bastantes mejoras.

Por cierto hay dos versiones; rockbot 1 y rockbot 2, creo que este segundo no está portado.
