Sifu: Pues lo tenía en el punto de mira hace tiempo y después de pasármelo me ha dejado un buen sabor de boca, me parece que tiene una idea muy chula y el gameplay en general mola mucho. Tal vez, por momentos me ha podido resultar un poco frustrante pero poco más que añadir, visualmente un estilo "Cell-Shading" que le queda muy chulo.

Callisto Protocol: Ostras pues no me ha parecido tan malo eh?, leí una barbaridad de hate y cuando me lo he terminado me ha dejado un gustillo bueno. Tengo que decir que yo lo compré hará cosa de un mes, por lo que lo mismo estoy jugando al título en un estado bastante mejor del que salío.
Si que tiene cosas incomprensibles, como que la variedad de equipos es nula (3-4 y ya, con bosses que se repiten) y cuando mejor se pone el juego, va y se termina....
Visualmente es una pasada, se nota muchísimo que viene de donde sabemos, porque es un calco en muchas cosas al Dead Space.


P.D: el siguiente en caer va a ser Dead Island 2, que estoy por la parte final, y ya después de este no sé a que darle. Me niego a jugar a Redfall en el estado en el que ha salido, así que lo mismo o me pongo a buscar otra cosa, o hago un parón hasta que venga ya Diablo 4 y Final Fantasy

Buen domingo de terminar de juegos que he tenido. Primero, tras 16 horas de Immortality logré ver los créditos. Me sorprendió que sólo el 7% de los jugadores de Game Pass ha llegado a verlos. Mis alabanzas a Sam Barlow y equipo por esta aventura narrativa que convierte al jugador en todo un detective intentando comprender lo que nos muestran y lo que no. Poco se puede contar sin entrar en spoiler. Tan solo recomendar a todo el mundo darle una oportunidad y disfrutar de esta obra de autor.

Ya por la tarde me encaminé de una vez al Castillo de Hyrule para acabar la aventura de Breath of the Wild. Sigue viéndose de escándalo en la OLED y lo que más me impactó fue esa sensación de poder descubrir cualquier cosa en el mapa, cosa que no vivía desde aquellos paseos en el yermo de Fallout 3. Entiendo que un jugador con más acercamiento a la saga lo pueda disfrutar como un niño pequeño viendo la evolución de la jugabilidad. Sin embargo, en mi caso que sólo he jugado al Link's awakening, no logré comprender tanta pasión desmedida con el juego más allá de la libertad de su planteamiento.

Juego que se pasa en un suspiro (30-45 minutos) de un pequeñísimo estudio indie. Estaba gratis en Steam, de ahí que quisiera darle una oportunidad. El juego mama claramente de PT y Alien Isolation, donde nos encontramos en una nave espacial dando vueltas en bucle para averiguar qué ha sucedido. La ambientación es muy buena dado el pequeñísimo equipo de desarrollo, sintiendo esa angustia que provoca el juego de Alien pero sin tanta tensión. El problema es que una vez captas la mecánica del juego y viendo que no es posible "morir", se pierde por completo la sensación de tensión y miedo, ya que únicamente nos vemos incitados a seguir adelante para completar la aventura. Sin más una experiencia "agradable" para aquellos fans de los juegos de terror psicológico con buena ambientación. Estoy seguro que con mayor presupuesto, tiempo y ambición el estudio podría lograr un resultado mucho mejor, ya que las intenciones son muy buenas.

- 7th Sector (Series X) > Juego de puzzles dónde eres una especie de "ente eléctrico" que va avanzando a través de cables y controlando varios dispositivos electrónicos. Tiene acertijos de todo tipo: normales con lógica, de matemática pura (sistema ecuaciones), de ensayo & error y alguno bastante puñetero sin lógica alguna.

Sin diálogos, historia nula, todo muy críptico, con buena ambientación Cyberpunk.

Me lo empecé el año pasado unas semanas antes del lanzamiento del tercer juego en Switch, dado que nunca había probado ningún Monkey Island y quería hincarle el diente a la saga para afrontar algún día su último lanzamiento. Lo dejé a medias y decidí retomarlo hace unos días dado que ya estaba cerca del final. Tras haberlo acabado entiendo el porque de todos los elogios hacia esta magnífica saga. Sin ser un gran amante de las aventuras gráficas (género al cual he dedicado muy poco tiempo sinceramente) el juego ha sabido mantener el humor a lo largo de toda la aventura. Siempre lograba sacarme una sonrisa o carcajada. Su renovado estilo artístico le sienta de lujo y la posibilidad de poder cambiar al estilo original con la tecla de un botón es todo un detalle. Me gustaba ver como recreaban cada situación en su día hace ya 3 largas décadas. Las situaciones en las que nos pone el juego son de lo más variadas. Debo reconocer que en más de una ocasión me he visto obligado a pulsar la tecla de 'H' (Help) para guiarme en la dirección adecuada, dado que muchas situaciones se terminan resolviendo de la manera más inverosímil. Ha sido una agradable aventura la cual he disfrutado de principio a fin, con ganas de continuar con su secuela de aquí a un tiempo.

Bfff, no me ha parecido divertido, un coñazo las cinemáticas continuas, a nivel artístico no me ha gustado, jugablemente sosainas... La verdad es que lo que he jugado de Double Fine de esa epoca es bastante regulero.

Me ha parecido una jodida maravilla, muy simplón en su fórmula, no inventa nada nada ni revolucionario, pero si te gusta el tipo de juego y la temática, te lo vas a pasar pipa. Se me ha hecho muy muy ameno cada momento que jugaba, un apartado audiovisual ACOJONANTE, con unos interiores que a veces se te cae la baba al mirarlos. Ahora a intentar sacarle los 1.000g [beer] [beer] , una compra recomendadísima!

THE TOWN OF LIGHT: 6
Valoro que este juego salió cuando (sin entrar en spoilers: el juego se desarrolla literalmente en un psiquiátrico) la salud mental era un tema mucho más tabú y hay que darle ese mérito, pero hoy ha sido tratado de maneras mucho más interesantes que en este The Town of Light. Un walking simulator (creo problemas con eso, ojo, sabía a lo que venía) puramente narrativo y con cero terror que atrapa al principio y cansa un poco al final, entre otras cosas por que gasta todas sus balas demasiado pronto (dura unas 4 horas, pero al terminar la segunda ya podrías adivinar casi todo lo que sucedió). Visualmente es agradable pero le falta algo de personalidad: cinemáticas aparte, es uno de esos indies en primera persona realizados con Unreal Engine 4 que son muy cumplidores pero a cambio de verse todos muy parecidos.
Consigue dejar muy mal cuerpo no desde el terror, que no tiene, sino por los temas tratados y hace un buen retrato de las barbaridades que, algunas veces desde la maldad y la mayoría desde la ignorancia, se cometían en los centros de salud mental en la época (me faltó decirlo: narra sucesos ocurridos entre 1937 y 1942, creo recordar, aunque puede bailarme algún año). Es interesante, aunque prescindible.

Probé la demo de este juego en 360 hace eones y me gustó. Lo tenía en mi biblioteca de Steam hace años de algún bundle y no lo había probado hasta ahora. Esta bastante bien, aunque se le nota la edad jugablemente. Tiene unos homenajes a Sonic muy muy obvios.

Primer GoW que juego y gratamente soprendido de lo bien que se ve en la PSP este hack n' slash de 2008. El apartado gráfico es maravilloso junto a las animaciones y la ambientación. Juego perfecto para desquitarse de un mal dia. Lo peor es que la historia es flojita ya que podría haber dado para algo más con un poquito más de guión.

Una aventura maravillosa de muy corta duración llena de puzles que no son muy complejos, pero si entretenidos, tiene un apartado visual maravilloso, unas animaciones del personaje y su acompañante increíbles, se siente orgánico en todo momento cuando salta y se amortigua con el suelo, el juego recuerda mucho a ICO pero en 2D, incluso se hace uso de la típica mecánica de llamar a Yorda pero a su manera, incluso implementa mecánicas propias muy interesantes.

Muy recomendable si te gustaron juegos como Inside o ICO.

Redfall a pesar de todo lo disfruté bastante. pero sinceramente, si no fuera por el Game Pass... y aquí lo dejo.

Dado que dice en el F.A.Q. que "Expansiones o episodios que tengan sus créditos al final se consideran juego completado" y que me tomo 30 horas -hay juegos stand alone más cortos- lo incluyo a mi lista.

Es un buen juego por si mismo y un disfrute para los que han jugado la saga, incluído el Chronicles X de Wii U, que mantiene el nivel de Xenoblade 3, refina algunas cosas y va más al grano.

Redfall

A pesar de sus errores como varios cuelgues (unos 5 o 6 en total), algunos objetos levitando y la IA, me ha gustado bastante. Con un buen parche se puede quedar un muy buen juego. Me han encantado los escenarios y el "gunplay" o el doblaje. Las misiones tanto principales como secundarias han estado relativamente bien. En resumen, el juego no está mal, el problema han sido los errores técnicos más que de jugabilidad. En cuanto le metan los 60 fps, le quiten el estar conectado de forma permanente y arreglen lo de los cuelgues, que la IA no camine de espaldas o se quede atascada y que algunos objetos (aunque pocos) no leviten. Yo le daría un 8 al juego en sí (sin los errores técnicos).

Se nota la huella que Limbo / Inside han dejado en la industria, ya que desde su salida no han parado de salir clones que intentar imitar su estilo. Planet of Lana no va a revolucionar la industria, ya que no aporta nada nuevo que no se haya visto antes, pero no por ello deja de ser una entretenida aventura que te ventilas rápidamente (unas 4 horas y pico me ha durado a mi, me lo he pasado de una sentada). Sin duda el juego que revolucionó este estilo de aventuras fue Another World, lanzado hace ya más de 3 décadas, y en Planet of Lana se nota esa influencia. El estilo artístico del juego entra enseguida, con una paleta de colores muy viva y adorable, así como nuestro amiguete que nos acompaña durante la aventura y a quien podremos ordenarle para que nos ayude a resolver los puzles que nos propone el juego (muy al estilo Oddworld). Las mecánicas y puzles son bastante simplones; arrastra esta caja aquí para poder llegar a 'x' plataforma, presiona este botón para abrir 'x' puerta, etc. Creo que Planet of Lana alcanza sus mejores momentos cuando combina la posibilidad de controlar y ordenar a Muiu (nuestro adorable acompañante) junto con el hecho de arrastrar algunos objetos o saltar rápidamente a alguna plataforma antes de que nos aniquilen nuestro enemigos, creando situaciones interesantes, ya que cuando el juego se limita a puzles del montón se vuelve todo demasiado monótono y predecible.

La historia no te volará la cabeza, el hecho de que no haya lenguaje (al menos el cual podamos entender), deja la historia muy a una interpretación libre, como ya han hecho los anteriores Inside, Limbo o Somerville. No deja de ser una imitación adorable de Inside, pero la ambientación de Inside y su manera tan orgánica de atravesar su mundo (un plano secuencia sin cortes) deja a Planet of Lana alejado del podium. El hecho de que recurra a la misma técnica para cambiar de escenario (caer por un abismo o una pendiente eterna) hace que los "niveles" fluyan de una manera ortopédica. Lo peor para mí de Planet of Lana ha sido incluir momentos de QTE, rompen por completo el flow del juego, donde debería priorizar el ingenio y los puzles. Igualmente pese a no ser un juegazo se disfruta mucho gracias a su estilo artístico y banda sonora. Recomendado si te gustan los anteriormente mencionados Inside, Limbo, Somerville, Little Nightmares, Darq, etc.

Fíjate que según avanzaba en el juego, iba pensando "ostras pues no es taaaaan malo como decían", aclaro también que lo he comprado a un precio muy reducido (20€) por lo que me duele menos jejeje, pero según iba avanzando por los capítulos se me iba haciendo cada vez mas soporífero. Es un juego con una idea/concepto a mi gusto muy buena, pero esta muy malamente ejecutada, escenarios vacío y sin carisma alguna (la ciudad de cemento mejor ni hablamos XD), un mundo abierto "made by ubisoft" con 3.000 iconos y un sistema de combate que hace aguas.

Gráficamente tampoco es que sea una maravilla, en algunos momentos brilla y en otros da vergüenza ajena. Aún así os digo que lo peor que tiene este juego es el HDR, es el único juego que me ha tenido como loco configurando la tele y consola porque directamente está roto, al final lo he dado por imposible.

Le doy un 5, porque como he dicho al principio, me iba divirtiendo y me enganchaba algo, lástima de lo alargado que está y de los puntos que he mencionado arriba claro.

Pues me ha gustado bastante la verdad, la historia no nada especial pero el combate y el parkour están bastante bien , además las secundarias algunas tienen su miga. Gráficamente se notan las costuras

Una pasadita rápida al Mario 64 en mi primer día de vacaciones. Siempre apetece echarle una pasada aunque sea de un par de horas utilizando el BLJ para finiquitarlo rápido cuando quiera terminar.

Es un gran juego, que incluso a día de hoy me hace apartar juegos pendientes de los últimos años para volver a jugarlo un rato. Aunque creo que no es ni el mejor Mario 3D ni el mejor plataformas de N64, a un paso de la excelencia que sí tuvieron Mario Oddisey y Banjo Kazooie / Tooie

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Juegazo épico.

Lo mejor, la exploración, los puzzles y la historia. Pero más que la historia en sí, la forma de contarla. Juego con un final épico.

Ahora mismo es mi segundo Zelda favorito y personalmente, por mi gusto más de "blade like", el segundo mejor juego de los que he jugado que han salido en este 2023.

Todo un homenaje al clásico Doom, un frenético e imparable FPS donde el concepto es el mismo; quédate quieto y mueres. En Prodeus el constante movimiento es fundamental si quieres sobrevivir ante las inmensas oleadas de enemigos que se nos vienen encima. El juego es un calco al clásico de 1993, con un estilo artístico muy original donde nuestros enemigos son sprites estilo retro pero con numerosos efectos de partículas, luces, sangre por doquier (mucha) que combinan perfectamente con la velocidad con la que transcurren nuestros tiroteos. Prodeus, al igual que Doom, va al grano; historia escueta que se cuenta con cortos textos al inicio de cada nivel. Aquí lo que importa es el gameplay, ni me he molestado en leerme los textos, y Prodeus lo borda porque es jodidamente divertido de jugar. Cada arma es un placer de usar y constantemente tendremos que cambiar entre ellas para afrontar cada enemigo de una manera diferente. No me canso nunca de reventar enemigos con la escopeta, el sonido de cada disparo es todo un placer y ver como brota sangre por todo el nivel con cada aniquilación nunca se vuelve monótono.

El principal problema que le he encontrado al juego es que cuando llevas aproximadamente el 60% avanzado el diseño de los niveles empieza a cambiar, siendo éstos más estilo "arenas" y la cantidad de enemigos que te lanza el juego me parece excesiva... Creo que los primeros niveles son más interesantes y divertidos, ya que en ocasiones es abrumador la cantidad de enemigos en pantalla y a veces te encuentras disparando sin fin por todos lados con la esperanza de ir matando alienígenas. Este cambio de diseño en los niveles es lo que me hace darle una nota más baja. Una pena porque algunos niveles están muy bien diseñados y pensados, dejando el listón muy alto, pero esta ilusión se va perdiendo a medida que avanzas y ves que la fórmula se repite demasiadas veces en los niveles.

Aun así, juegazo divertidísimo. Me he visto obligado a bajarle la dificultad en el último nivel (lo estaba intentando en difícil pero bajé a normal) ya que es excesiva la cantidad de enemigos que te lanzan de golpe en un espacio demasiado reducido. Tiene niveles creados por la comunidad que se pueden descargar, que está bien para alargar la vida del juego, pero muchos de estos niveles no alcanzan el nivel de mimo puestos por los desarrolladores originales.

Gran juego de plataformas y shooter en tercera persona que originalmente salió para 3ds y que he podido disfrutar en Switch. Visualmente es continuista del primero y sigue siendo una gozada sus físicas y dedicarle unas partidas entre otros juegos de mayor dedicación. Un puro divertimento y muy recomendable para partidas cortas.

- FIFA 23 (Nintendo Switch OLED): 4. Tenía el 19 al que le eché un buen puñado de horas en el tren. Lo compré para jugarlo en el viaje y me ha parecido el mismo juego, literal literal. Lamentable en un juego que vende tanto.
- Pokemon Leyendas Arceus (Nintendo Switch OLED): 6. A pesar de que se criticó el sistema de combate (criticas que comparto) creo que lo peor es lo lento y engorroso de la historia, sobretodo al comienzo. Muy guida, lenta, obvia y que me ha acabado desesperando.
- Cities Skylines Hotels & Retreats + Railroads of Japan + Brooklyn & Queens + Industrial Revolution (PC): 4. Me parece el peor añadido de todos, una expansión que podían haber sido 4 mods y mejores, los content creator que se han quedado muy por debajo de lo esperado y 30 euros de contenido que me han dado ganas de devolverlos.

Bastante cortito (solo 6 mundos principales) pero con la jugabilidad clásica de siempre. Relativamente fácil pero muy entretenido.

Ghostwire: Tokyo, entretenido, algo diferente a lo que acostumbro a ver, la historia es una fumada importante, se deja jugar. Sus mayores handicaps son ser el tipico juego de perder infinito tiempo en el mapa recogiendo cosas, y sobre todo el rendimiento gráfico.

The Room: lo compré por media peseta para echar el rato en el móvil, para pasar el rato, cortito, algo cogido con pinzas el tema de la lente.

Hoa: juego cuqui sin más, plataformas cortito y sencillo, con fases algo coñazo (el laberinto a oscuras, el último nivel entero fuera de contexto...
