Ayuda con ampliación memoria RAM ddr2

Estoy por ampliar un PC, y pasarme a 64bits y win7

La plata no saco cual es, no lo logro, el procesador es un Core 2 6400 2,13

La placa tiene ahora mismo en dual channel 2x 1024MB 533Mhz DDR2

Y quiero ver si puedo poner 4 GB, por lo que creo de las especificaciones puedo poner DDR2 hasta de 800Mhz, pero el tamaño por modulo máximo es de 1GB, entonces, según el fabricante podría poner 4GB a 800Mhz? perdería el dual chanel al pincharlas en ambos canales, aprovechando los 4 slots?

Segun eso, no tienes 2x1gb, tienes 4x512, asi que la unica manera de tener 4 gb es comprar 4x1gb ddr2 800mhz, con lo del dual channel no tendras problemas.

Ok, cierto, lo acabo de ver, ahora recuerdo que aproveche las 2x512 que traia.

Otra cosilla, el procesador es 64bits no? lo he mirado y creo que si efectivamente lo es.

Mira tambien en izarmicro y 4frags, segun que memoria estan mas baratas.
