dCiSo escribió:OK time for some status updates on the project. Video code is starting to come together now. The nice thing about having to redo the video from the ground up instead of taking the shortcut and importing MFE is I have been able to incorperate a few things that I was not going to include in the initial release. One of these things are USB Support. I have done this for a few reasons. One of the main reasons is I am changing some of the GUI so it will be easier to skin and would like to give the user the ability to load custom skin from usb device or sd card. I figure giving it the use of USB device it leaves more room on SD for other homebrew applications and tools the end users may want to use.
Another thing I have decided to do is make use of keyboard so that the user can enter the shoutcast server info from keyboard instead of needing to have a premade list saved in a file.
Well that is about it for right now hope to post some more as it comes along. Once again I would also like to apologize to everyone for the delays and thank all of those who are being patient. In the long run it may be way behind but it is going to be alot better once released especially with all the new stuff that has come along in devkitPPC 15

A copy of Readme followsSummary:
This is a crude prototype of GeeXboX port for WII. It is based on gc-linux team's wii-linux-PoC-0.4 and a recent devel version of GeeXboX.
Most functions of WII, including bluetooth/wiimote, DVD, wireless, LAN etc., are not supported by this version, due to limitations of the linux kernel. There are terrible bugs too, which you won't be able to miss. So please regard this rather as a demo. But expect huge improvements in next release, when gc-linux team's latest linux port becomes available.
Requirements:
WII, SD card (formatted using FAT32), USB keyboard
Usage:
Homebrew channel users just need to copy everything into the root directory of your SD card and select GeeXboX in the channel.
TP hack users have to copy or move apps/geexbox/boot.elf to the root directory of your SD card and start the hack.
Control:
Use arrow keys to move around in the menu. For more detailed info on keyboard controls, consult GeeXboX homepage (http://www.geexbox.org).
After keypress(s), press enter to send to GeeXboX. (This is a temporary hack)
Formats:
All a/v formats supported by MPlayer (yes, rmvb included), with the exception of WMV9 audio.
Source:
Front SD only and no changing card function is provided.
Console:
If you want to play around with console mode, edit GEEXBOX/runlevel file to include the word "debug". Enter "exit" in console to start GUI.
Bugs:
Keypressings are shown on screen, destroying playback;
Keypressing events are only received by MPlaer after 'ENTER' is pressed;
Wrong OSD colour.
