Buenas, veréis el otro día tuvo un problema un amigo con su portátil, y me lo ha dado a ver si le puedo recuperar unas fotos antes de formatearlo.
El problema es que Windows (vista) no inicia, sale la pantalla "Loading windows files" y luego la de cargando windows y se queda en negro. He intentado ver los archivos con un Live CD de Ubuntu y también con Redo Backup and Recovery y me sale el siguiente error:
Error mounting: mount exited with exit code 13: ntfs_attr_pread_i: ntfs_pread failed: Input/output error
Failed to read NTFS $Bitmap: Input/output error
NTFS is either inconsisten, or there is a hardware fault, or it's a
SoftRAID/FakeRAID harware. In the first case run chkdsk /f on Windows
then reboot into Windows twice. The usage of the /f parameter is very
important! If the device is a SoftRAID/FakeRAID the firs activate it and mount a different device under the /dev/mapper/ directory, (e.g.
/dev/mapper/nvidia_eahaabbcc1). Please see the 'dmraid' documentation
