Tengo Fedora Core 2 y acabo de instalar el kernel 2.6.9 (kernel-2.6.9-1.667.i686.rpm) y los drivers para la tarjeta grafica (NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-6629-pkg1.run).
Despues de modificar el archivo xorg.conf (borre, Load "dri" y modifique la linea nv, por nvidia) no me arranca el SO (si lo hace con los drivers que vienen con FC2)
La pregunta es evidente, ¿que tengo que hacer para que me funcione con los nuevos drivers?
P.D. Soy muy nuevo con esto y agradeceria respuestas los mas claras posible.

Los drivers dan error al instalarse.
ERROR: Unable to load the kernel module 'nvidia.ko'. This is most likely
because the kernel module was built using the wrong kernel source files.
Please make sure you have installed the kernel source files for your
kernel; on Red Hat Linux systems, for example, be sure you have the
'kernel-source' rpm installed. If you know the correct kernel source
files are installed, you may specify the kernel source path with the
'--kernel-source-path' commandline option.
