To attach your faceplate to your console:
Close the disc tray, remove all memory units, and then turn off your Xbox 360™ console.
Remove the existing faceplate from the console by locating the slot on the right side of the faceplate (or bottom if the console is oriented vertically) and pulling on it until it detaches. Make sure you keep the console from falling by firmly holding it in place as you pull on the faceplate.
Align the tabs on the new faceplate with the slots on the console and press it in place.
