As of today we start shipping the new component with every chip (1uf (Micro Fara) 63v Electrolytic Capacitor). For those of you who already have a NEO 2, if you wish to go out and buy this part yourselves it would be the quickest option (its only 5p). However if you wish for us to supply this part of course it will be shipped free of charge. I will upload instructions on how to fit this at some stage today. For those of you who understand the workings of caps - here's how to do it. Splice the wire from PIN 2 and connect -v to the board and +v to the chip. This filters all the residual noise through the SCE signal and solves all problems that people have been having with installation (not booting certain media, clicking etc.)
Ok Here's the full instructions.
i) PSX Backups/PS2 Originals - Normal Boot
ii) PSX Originals - Hold Reset till blue eject light comes on (1 second)
iii) PSX Import Originals - Boot with PSX Originals while holding reset - let go on logo screen - swap with import original
iv) PS2 Backups - Boot with AR2/GS2 CD1 - Press Start Game - Press Without Codes - Eject/Swap - X
v) PS2 EA Sports Games and other that wont boot - Hold reset until AR2/GS2 menu and disc slows right down - let go - swap disc (you have 4 seconds).
iv) PSX Import Backups - Patch to PAL with Patch it Tool
vii) PS2 Import Originals - Not compatible in this version.
