Duckstation. No funciona bien el spyro2 y probablemente todos los que tienen protecciones

Menudo chasco cuando ayer estuve jugando un rato y al entrar a un mundo, directamente se cierra el emulador. Le metí un sbi de dicha versión, con el mismo nombre que los archivos bin y cue. Pero nada. Sigue haciendo lo mismo.

Parece que epsxe es el que mejor compatibilidad tiene. Se salta todas las protecciones. Pero está desfasado en opciones y funciones.

¿Es un caso típico con el spyro2?. ¿Sucede con la versión USA?.
Si se cierra el emulador no es cosa de la protección del juego.
Si el fallo está relacionado con la protección del juego, parchealo. Yo para usar Psio los tengo todos con parche y ya está.
Tiene que ser la protección del juego. Crashea al entrar a un mundo y hay gente por ahí con fallos similares. No ocurre con la versión USA. Lo estoy probando y va perfecta.

Con epxse no he tenido estos problemas. Se traga todas las protecciones sin rechistar.
@Duendeverde Cuando ejecutas el juego el emulador te dice que necesitas un archivo? porque si no te lo pregunta y carga el juego no tiene nada que ver con la protección.

Sï. Lo pedía. Encontré una opción para saltárselo. Pero ocurre lo descrito. Dejándolo como estaba y metiendo el archivo sbi, ocurre lo mismo.
@Duendeverde Sí, lo acabo de probar y es como dices, pero seguramente no sea de la protección de juego (a no ser que .sbi esté mal o vete tú a saber), voy a mirar a ver si encuentro alguna solución.

Yo me pasé a principios de año Ape Escape y Dino Crisis 2 que tienen protección en español sin ningún problema. Así que todos no son [carcajad]
Si se cierra sin nada más es probablemente relacionado con el driver gráfico y no tenga que ver con la protección del juego .
Yo al menos lo he probado en la Mister y no funciona da error E2 que hay algo que no funciona, no sé si es de la protección, del juego en sí o del core.

@MaXiMu En log pone algo de CPU exception, y ahí se queda.

@AlterNathan Pues es extraño En qué punto se cierra? Al arrancar , en algun mundo en concreto? lo poco que he podido probar me funciona y arranca perfectamente con su sbi correspondiente deben de tener el mismo nombre .
Y he utitilizado la última versión https://github.com/stenzek/duckstation/ ... tag/latest
con este sbi Spyro 2.
@MaXiMu Se bloquea en un sitio concreto, y es cuando vas a entrar al primer mundo, es decir primero haces un tutorial, luego entras al mundo en general y a partir de ahí cuando entras a un mundo se bloquea.

De todas maneras lo he llegado a arreglar, quitando el anti-copy con un parche, de todas maneras voy a probar ese SBI a ver si funciona.

@MaXiMu amigo una consulta es decir que esos juegos que usan sbi al usarlo correctamente no deberian dar problemas ? estoy a punto de jugar el ctr racing y ese pide sbi...
Vale más cositas con el .SBI que me ha pasado @MaXiMu si que funciona, o al menos a mí no se me cuelga en ese sitio.

Pero claro, hay dos versiones. La 1.0 y la 1.1. No sé qué diferencias habrá. A ver si el problema va a ser ése. Pero si fuera eso, me parece muy mal que un emulador mucho más viejo se salte todo y en uno "mejor", tengas que ir con inventos raros.
A mí me va bien, igual te has equivo de SBI, el Spyro 2 solo tiene una versión PAL. El que tiene dos versiones es el 3.
@Duendeverde En teoría es al revés, cuando más preciso es el emulador, en este caso Duckstation, es cuando sucede estos problemas porque se comporta como la maquina original, el EPSXE utiliza un sistema de hacks haciendo funcionar los juegos y que no se comporta como la maquina original.

Pues si es así, no entiendo porqué sigue dando el mismo problema. De todas formas me pasé la versión USA sin problemas y estoy terminando el 3.
@Duendeverde El .SBI que ha puesto Maximu no da ese problema, funciona correctamente, al menos lo poquito que he jugado.

Duckstation requiere tener la misma versión del serial del juego si es pal españa pues SCES_XXXX o SLES-XXXX (depende del juego utilizan esas nomenclatura)
Y en este caso hay solo una versión pal-m5 del juego y la versión 1.1 era su versión relanzada en su gama platinum con cajita gris .

Seguramente en este caso no vaya porque en la versión 1.1 tenga algunos cambios más superficiales que en su versión 1.0 y hayan cambiado algo en la implementación del Libcrypt el sistema anticopia por muchos juegos de psx que aprovechaban a actualizarlo en cada relanzamiento o serial diferente del juego .
Vuelvo a decir lo mismo, parche a la iso del juego y fiesta. El error al entrar en un mundo justo después del tutorial si es del anticopia, salta justo ahí. Pero para ese juego hay parche, es meterlo y ya está, después ya lo juegas donde quieras. Hardware original, emulador...
@Yaripon Ummm pero ya lo hemos solucionado fijate en los demás mensajes, yo lo solucioné parcheando (tu solución) y Maximu con un .SBI correcto, de todas maneras en la Mister no funciona de ninguna de las 2 maneras pero porque el Core es imperfecto.

En ésa época las actualizaciones eran sacar el juego de nuevo.
Quizá la 1.0 es la de salida y la 1.1 es una versión platinum, cosa que suele suceder.
En la web de redump está todo esto registrado.
No para descargar los juegos.

Los cambios entre versiones pues no están bien documentados.
Salvo que lo sepas, tipo
Colin mc rae rally deja de tener licencias varias y el Subaru Impreza apenas tiene logos.
Tomb Raider tiene FMV de otros juegos a modo de publicidad al empezar.
Vrally tiene un coche extra cambiado por otro.
Final Fantasy 7 tiene cambiado un archivo con las descripciones, algo soluciona creo, pero no sé qué descripción concretamente.
