mi problema es este: He instaldo debian gnu linux 5 ''lenny'', en un portatil toshiba satellite s1800-354s, bien, el problema esta que la maxima resolucion que me deja es 800x600, y quisiera aumentarla para no tener pantalla en negro. e leido que podria ser que no tengo los drivers instalos pero e busacado en la pagina de toshiba y al ser un portatil antiguo, los unicos drivers que hay para el para compatible con s.o. linux solo son actualizaciones de BIOS. tambien miré que modificando el xorg.conf podria conseguirlo, pero no me reconoce ningun dispositivo,os pongo lo que me indica:
