El modo principal se llamará "Quest Mode" y estará narrado por Gene Simmons (vocalista y bajista de KISS) y en España por Loquillo (Loquillo y los Trogloditas). Este modo narrará un épico viaje de rock desde el CBGBs, el famoso local de punk-rock en New York, hasta los Campos de lava del Rock donde los 8 personajes del Guitar Hero se unirán para transformarse en los Guerreros del Rock para ayudar al Semi-Dios del Rock y derrotar a la Bestia y salvar el Rock & Roll... estos "Guerreros del Rock" tendrán habilidades especiales para ganar muchisimos puntos (6x en vez de 4x???)
Debido a los problemas jurídicos con las similitudes de las celebridades en Guitar Hero 5 y Band Hero, Guitar Hero:Warriors of Rock contará con sólo personajes de ficción, los que ya se haya incluido en la serie.
También se ha incluido el modo "Quickplay+", donde todas las canciones del GH: Warriors of Rock y la mayoría de canciones DLC (las descargadas) y las importadas de los anteriores GH tendrán 13 desafios parecidos a los del GH5 (hacer X notas de racha en, X puntos, X estrellas... etc etc)

Chart: Es el camino que marca la canción cayendo notas de colores.
Sighteread, es como bien ha dicho Slipknot LA PRIMERA VEZ EN TOCAR UNA CANCIÓN, vamos, sin saber que viene jejeje.
Squeeze es cuando tienes energia para lanzar, pues levanta la guitarra/tocar el boton de energia lo más tarde posible de una nota, para que cuando se acabe la energia te de tiempo a dar alguna nota más con energia dándole muy pronto. Mira este video. Ésta tecnica es muy friki y válida pues para batir records de puntuación y/o ganar partidas muy igualadas. En Obstacle1 podeis practicar Sqeezes jejeje.
Choke: Fallo estrepitoso justo al acabar un megasolo (VIDEO ver a partir del miunto 3:00) o justo al final de la cancion (VIDEO). Para el que hace sas cagadas es una jodienda muy gorda... para el resto de la gente es una cosa muy divertida xD.
Full Combo (FC): SI una cancion tiene 1000 notas, pues hacerte un 100% con racha de 1000 notas. Racha a tope.
FC vs 100%: Direis, es lo mismo no??? Pues no, puedes dar el 100% de las notas y no ser FC, ya que puedes perder la racha entre una nota y otra nota, suele pasar en canciones con muchas notas seguidas, tipo Assassin.
Overstrum: Pues es esa nota que jode la racha pero no el porcentaje de lo arriba mencionado. Ejemplo, He hecho un 100% con 3 overstrums, pues eso, has roto la racha 3 veces pero has conseguido dar a las notas que debes dar.
Alt Strumming: Simple, rasguear las notas dandole arriba y abajo a la palanquita.
HOPOs Hammer on (HO) + Pull off (PO) = HOPO xD
Hammer On: Es cuando la siguiente nota hacia la derecha nota no hace falta rasguearla.
Pull Off Al reves que el HO, hacia la izquierda.
Star Power (SP): Energía Estrella.
Star Power Phrase: Es el camino con SP.
Star Power Path (SP Path): Es el camino donde usas la SP acumulada. El que más puntos hace en una canción, es el que mejor SPpath ha usado xD
Tappping: En una serie de hammers on y/o pull off pues como no hace falta rasguear, pues dar a los botones con las dos manos....Aquí tienes varios ejemplos, como el inicion de Through the Fire and Flames, o el primer solo de Cliffs of Dover es un ejemplo, ese s mi video de solos del GH3

Triplets: Son rachas de Hammers on o Pull off de 3 notas. Ejemplo, Purple Haze de Bonskater, a los 38 segundos de video.
Tick: En una nota de las laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargas, pues es la porcion mínima que da puntos. Por eso, en ScoreHero veis que hay gente que supera a alguien por 4, 8, 12 puntitos. Eso es porque se han dejado 1, 2 o 3 tics por camino estando en x4
. Vamos, una GILIPOLLEZ Fill: Igual que un triplet, pero de 2.
Outro: Es el final de una cancion, cuando acaba con muuuuchas notas haciendo alt strummin, estilo Sweet Home Alabama a partir del min 6:16 de mi video
, o Hot For Teacher, o Psychobilly Freakout.
