Lo he estado probando el linux, y con los shaders parece que va mas fino.
Me queda pendiente la version de windows a ver que tal ha mejorado.
a ver si lo pruebo aun asin me gusta mas la version no-nag.

Con retroarch, y el core de MAME, en asuntos de shader no hay problemas :)

Por ahora, asi es como trabajo con MAME y con Emulationstation, todo va de perlas XD

Cualquier cacharro tecnológico puede llegar a ser posible emular en MAME. [+risas]
La verdad que para quienes nos gustan descubrir plataformas nuevas emuladas y trastear con ellas este multiemulador es lo más. Rara es la versión que no te encuentras con una sorpresa como la que comentas aunque en este caso no sea funcional por no disponer del firmware adecuado, entre otras cosas.

Si, solia usarlo con QMC2, pero este tiene un raro fallo o no es compatible con el mame que tengo 1.52 y bueno mirando las comodidades que tengo en retroarch, me he decantado por esta ultima forma de cargar los juegos, desde la distancia. :cool:

Estos son las recreativas de Gaelco que están en el mame:

-Alligator Hunt: Es jugable gracias a la versión que está desprotegida.

-ATV Track: No funciona correctamente en mame y le falta sonido pero en Demul su emulación no está mal y no pierdes nada por probarla.

-Bang: Es jugable en mame sin problemas

-Big Karnak: Buena emulación en mame.

-Biomechanical toy: Funciona bien en mame.

-Glass: Hasta ahora no funcional pero es en esta versión 0.169 que se ha conseguido hacer funcionar una versión coreana del mismo juego que no parece diferir en nada con respecto al original, salvo que no hay imagenes de chicas ligeras de ropa.

-Maniac Square: Es jugable tanto en la version unprotected como en la prototype.

-Master Boy: Jugable sin problemas este juego tipo trivial.

-Radikal Bikers: Es jugable en mame pero con fallos gráficos

-ROLLing eX.tre.me: No es jugable en mame.

-Smashing Drive: No jugable mame pero tienes el Demul para probar.

-Speed Up: Es jugable en mame aunque con fallos gráficos

-Splash: Es jugable en mame sin problemas.

-Squash: Perfectamente jugable en mame.

-Surf Planet: Es relativamente jugable en mame con fallos gráficos.

-Target Hits: El juego tiene protección y no ha sido emulado.

-TH Strikes Back: El juego tiene protección y no está emulado.

-Thunder Hoop: Con ciertos fallos pero jugable siempre que no le des a continuar en la fase 4 en caso de perder ya que si no pues se "estropea" el juego..

-Tokyo Cop: No funciona ni es jugable en mame.

-Touch & Go: Está protegido y por tanto no ha sido emulado. Es un juego de volleyball pero no encuentro videos en internet mostrando como es el juego de principio a fin.

-World Rally: Era otro juego con una protección imposible y que parecía que nunca sería emulado pero gracias a la ayuda de Gaelco ahora es perfectamente jugable en mame.

-World Rally 2: Su segunda entrega no ha tenido tanta suerte y debido a su protección sigue sin estar emulado. Se puede jugar un rato pero cuando te choques una sóla vez pues ya no podrás seguir jugando.

-Xor World: una recreativa de puzzles que creo que no sacaron los de Gaelco al mercado pero que es jugable ahora en mame.

Más que funcionar lento, que estas cosas bastantes veces se solucionan con tener un PC lo más actual posible, el problema está en que parpadean gráficos demasiado, se pierden poligonos en ocasiones, etc. Al menos en mi caso y ahora mismo me ha dado por volver a comprobarlo y sigue de la misma manera. No sé si os pasará igual pero al menos esta es mi experiencia emulando el juego. En fin, que poniéndole muchas ganas se puede jugar pero no se puede decir que esté funcional. [ayay]

Pregunta de novato tal vez... pero como hago para actualizar las roms ( zip)???? porque si bajo el emu 0.156 no creo que me anden algunas roms....

Non-merged, merged o split.
No hay una versión mejor ya que eso tendrá que ver cada usuario cuál prefiero, yo me que quedo con el split merged ya que si hay roms de clones que ya se encuentran en la rom principal pues son archivos duplicados que puedo prescindir de ellos para ahorrar espacio, pero eso tendrá que verlo cada cuál. Os recomiendo este manual de http://www.mameguide.info/ que trata sobre estos temas técnicos, gestores de roms, etc. sobre el mame.

Aprovecho para comentar que parece que otro juego de Gaelco puede ser pronto jugable, y es el Snow board Championship, según he podido ver en http://mamedev.emulab.it/haze/2016/01/0 ... n-exploit/ donde comentan los progresos de la emulación de esta recreativa.

Desde mi punto de vista "split" es la mejor opcion.
