Strict Wave 3 compliance means wave 3 games will only boot if they have correct PFI/DMI/SS and timestamp for wave 3

Strict drive speed compliance means games will only boot if drive is set for the initial speed of 12x, any modification of this make games fail to boot

SS v2 suports multiple timing samples for challenges type 5 and 7 , stroing them in the SS. This is a pre-requiste for SS v3 which has support for the so called AP2.5 check. Since this has never been used or may never be used by MS we will adopt a wait and see approach and continue to monitor for its usage.

With drive in Windows mode (Tray half open on powerup) 0800 mode is activated allowing easy dumping of game disc including SS v2. In this mode the drive is also able to output drive key, fw version and drive type by using a simple custom inquiry command.

Game exceptions are integrated in the fw for games that do not comply with the strict wave checks but are legitimate. These are Dance Dance Revolution Universe, Stoked, Ping 17 disk, afro samurai

One shot boot mode allows you to boot a Wave X or non stealth game by using the activate.iso disk as a flag. Just insert the activate disc and the next disc inserted will boot without any strict checks. This will still utilise full stealth if available. As soon as that disc is booted the flag is cleared, and you will have to re-insert the activate disk again to enable one shot boot. As always use with caution.

Parece ser que hay que usar los puntos alternativos para dumpear la key.

Y el sistema es el mismo que con las anteriores lite on con el max32. A ver si alguien lo "aclara".

Acabo de encontrar con un heditor hexadecimal la linea en la que el fichero que crea el lo83info.exe deja la key.(Ya que es muy simplon y corto ademas el resto de cosas se detectan enseguida inquriry e identify.
Pero putada esta encryptada. He probado flashear un samsung spoofeado a liteon 83850c con la key resultante y no me ha funcionado.
Con lo cual esta encrytapa, lo unico que nos falta es saber desencrytarla.

Haber si alguien lo logra.

P.D. La linea de la key es la 7.
He estado comparando lectores liteon viejos y extraen todo exceptuando las 7 primeras lineas.
Las 6 primeras es basura y relleno ademas con dedicatoria incluida.
Apartir de la 8 linea es el inquiry y luego el identify.

Y otra cosa que se me ha pasado decir como sacan un ixtreme para el modelo ese apostas cuando electronicamente es identico a los viejos modelos, con el unico cambio de sofware y ya esta.
Con haber creado un firmware liteon normal con cambiar la linea de codigo del modelo ya esta.

Bueno que me voy de tema, haber quien es capaz de desencryptar la clave esa.

en las intruciones del TIMOOOO del foundmy.com no pone nada de puentear, solo esto.

de desencriptar cuando varias personas pasen sus "keys" con los repectivos archivos que han mandado a foundmy. por comparacion o desencriptación "inversa" igual se puede averiguar donde y como está la key en el archivo ese que se manda...

Aclaro que no tengo ni puta idea de programacion ni nada que se le parezca... es solo un pensamiento en voz alta...

si pero falta como se extrae la key.

p.d: he abierto ix16-liteon838.bin y me sale una key logica por defecto, no creo que se flashee con esa, es raro.

si se ve donde se inserta la "key" al firm modificado se debería ver k hace/codificación etc..., a no ser k sea un port del firm actual del liteon-normal, saludos

Beno... si es cuestion de desencryptar, creo que alguien con conocimientos podria hacer algo al respecto.
Me explico:
Alojar en un servidor la clave encryptada, crear un programa simple que no consuma muchos recursos que envie constantemente posibles claves desencryptadoras aleatorias a ese servidor, y bajarnos todos el programa desencryptador y dejarlo funcionando todo el tiempo posible, hasta dar con la clave.
Si alguien recuerda las tarjetas de D+ en sus viejos tiempos... sabrá de que hablo.
Evidentemente yo no tengo los conocimientos necesarios pa hacer esto, solo es una sujerencia a la cual todos podriamos aportar nuestro granito de arena sin tener conocimientos, simplemente bajandos en programita y ejecutandolo en nuestro PC. Haber si alguien se le enciende la lucecita y podemos hacer algo, somos bastantes aqui en EOL.

Please note that in order to mod the current liteon you must retrive the key data from the drive. The only solution to that at the moment is here at foundmy.com

It appears Team HyperX is atleast working on a solution. Lets hope for the best, but for the moment there is only one method. We have many confirmed reports of successful purchases from foundmy and have not seen any issues relating to the processing of key's.

It is currently recommended by THX to NOT cross spoof between 7x and 8x LiteOn (rev1/rev2) drives!

A version of JungleFlasher(info)(info)(info) will be released in the next 24 hours to support the new ixtreme.

Lo que creo mas importante lo he marcado en rojo... la unica opcion por ahora es pagar aunque el Team HyperX continuan trabajando en una solucion.

Entre comillas, yo pienso que los del hyperX han sakao la solucion y antes de hacerla publica y gratis quieren sacarla tajada y lo hace a traves de foundmy que seran colegas. Yo lo veo bien en cierto modo, han currao mucho y merecen una recompensa. Pero se han pasado cobrando 41$, tendrian que haberlo sacado en 15$ u asi y pagos con tarjeta de credito y paypal, con western union si el dolar esta oficialmente a 1.43 los cabrones te lo cambian a 1.32 pues por cada dolar se chupan 0.11€ y luego aparte de ese robo te cobran una comision kriminal, enviar 41$ te meten 10€ de comision......vamos una puto robo a mano armada y segun esta evolucionando el tema, yo creo que para tener una solucion gratuita van a pasar unos cuantos meses.....

Hola, he estado siguiendo el hilo desde el principio por simple curiosidad, para mi "modificar consolas" es una simple afición y no gano dinero con eso.

Perdi un poco de interes cuando la cosa "degenero" en tal lote de consola viene con tal liteon o no, me recordaba un montón al foro de la psp, que sin ánimo de molestar a nadie me parece de lo más infantil.

Luego la cosa se anima con la historia esta de la web que por un "módico precio" te facilitan la key, usando un programita y conectado el sata al pc.

1ª reflexión, de ser cierto, (no lo se seguro, puesto que no he visto ninguno) que los liteon son identicos con la salvedad que en el firm 83850C llevan deshabilitado el puerto serie, el metodo de la web de pago, tiene que funcionar también en los anteriores liteon.
Por lo que ha escrito magi_quesa, parece que es así.
Pues que putada para los que venden los "extractores", ¿no?. Me refiero a cuando se averigue como funciona el soft extrator de foundmy.
Es muchisimo más rentable así que fabricando y vendiendo "extractores hardware" teniendo en cuenta que venden uno y puede extraer los archivos de muchas consolas, que tienen un coste de fabricación y distribución, y que ademas la peña se los puede hacer por su cuenta.... [angelito]

en fin la pasta es la pasta.

2ª reflexión, los sistemas de encriptación no se rompen a fuerza bruta, hoy dia pueden ser demasiado complejos. Pero claro teniendo en cuenta que tienes el programa que genera el código y tienes el resultado de ese codigo desencriptado, se puede optar por dos caminos, que pueden ser complementarios, usar un debugger y un desamblador,( tipo de programas que jamas he usado, que no tengo ni papa de informática) como si fueras a realizar un keygen, o comparar key encriptada con key desencriptada.

3ª reflexión, es de cajón que los fabricantes de consolas siguen estos foros, y deciden según sus intereses (estudios de mercado, coste de las modificaciones, presion de los desarroladores de juegos etc).
Si fuera una partida de ajedrez, Microsoft puede hacer jaque mate en cualquier momento, si la modificación no les sale cara.
Meten codigo encriptado y firmado y se acabó.

Precisamente he abierto hoy una 915 y sí lleva el flasheable, de hecho hasta el 921 (inclusive) sólo me he encontrado flasheables. Saludos

Talvez la respuesta está en analizar el LO83info.exe, posiblemente ese programa se encargue de extraer el firmware o la "key" y encriptarla.

It is a testiment to all involved on how far we have come and the massive teamwork it has required. Thanks go to all involved and here's to the next three years!

At the moment the only way to get your key data is through the foundmy.com method. At this time we have no alternative solution. Props to foundmy for cracking the key encryption and providing a solution. Team HyperX will keep working to find a alternative solution!

Strict Wave 3 compliance means wave 3 games will only boot if they have correct PFI/DMI/SS and timestamp for wave 3

Strict drive speed compliance means games will only boot if drive is set for the initial speed of 12x, any modification of this make games fail to boot

SS v2 suports multiple timing samples for challenges type 5 and 7 , stroing them in the SS. This is a pre-requiste for SS v3 which has support for the so called AP2.5 check. Since this has never been used or may never be used by MS we will adopt a wait and see approach and continue to monitor for its usage.

With drive in Windows mode (Tray half open on powerup) 0800 mode is activated allowing easy dumping of game disc including SS v2. In this mode the drive is also able to output drive key, fw version and drive type by using a simple custom inquiry command.

Game exceptions are integrated in the fw for games that do not comply with the strict wave checks but are legitimate. These are Dance Dance Revolution Universe, Stoked, Ping 17 disk, afro samurai

One shot boot mode allows you to boot a Wave X or non stealth game by using the activate.iso disk as a flag. Just insert the activate disc and the next disc inserted will boot without any strict checks. This will still utilise full stealth if available. As soon as that disc is booted the flag is cleared, and you will have to re-insert the activate disk again to enable one shot boot. As always use with caution.

Lo del LiteOn iXtreme 83850c-THX v1.6 es el firmware Ixtreme del nuevo lector ver. 83850c lo que hace falta es sacar la key que aun no se sabe como sacar.
