We are very happy to announce that F1® 2019, the official videogame of the 2019 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP™, is coming a full two months earlier into the F1® season and will launch worldwide on Friday 28th June 2019! To whet your appetite (just a little…) and celebrate today’s announcement we’ve released a trailer, which showcases some of the game’s brand new look and feel. You can check it out right here:
For those of you who might know the F1® calendar off by heart, this will, of course, mean that game will be released during the Austrian Grand Prix weekend and, unlike previous iterations, ahead of the British, German and Hungarian Grands Prix.
F1® 2019 has been in development here at Codemasters for nearly two years, making it the most ambitious release in the franchise history and launches on PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X and Windows PC (DVD and via Steam).
That’s not all though! Working in partnership with F1®, for the first time ever, you’ll be able to get behind the wheel of a 2019 regulation car specifically designed in collaboration with F1®’s technical team, headed up by Ross Brawn and Pat Symonds. The car, which will be available in Multiplayer, adheres to the 2019 regulations and comes with a range of livery designs offering you a new level of personalisation. We’ll be looking at this in more detail in the near future, but for now, you can take a look at these right here:
The 2019 F1® Team liveries will also feature on the car in early marketing materials, but will be replaced by the final Team cars ahead of the games release. You can check these out at the bottom of the blog.
We know that you love the F1® racing franchise, and we want to build on the success of previous iterations and deliver to you an experience that rivals the quality and production values of the real-life sport and includes several new game features which will be revealed in the coming months (so make sure you do keep it here for more!)

Características
- Incluirá un coche extra diseñado en colaboración con Ross Brawn y Pat Symmons basado en la normativa 2019 que estará disponible en modo multijugador e incluirá varias skins que ofrecerá a los jugadores un nuevo nivel de personalización.
- Incluirá, de lanzamiento, la temporada completa 2018 de Formula 2. Más adelante, se añadirá la temporada completa 2019 del campeonato.
- En el modo carrera, se podrá progresar desde La Formula 2 hasta la Formula 1.
- Genera automáticamente el resumen de la carrera con sus momentos claves, añade efectos slow motion y exporta el vídeo a PC.
- Actualización de Super Licencia: Nueva clasificación de asistencia a ligas, sala de trofeos, estadísticas del juego y comparación con otros jugadores.
- Además de personalizar los colores del coche del multijugador, también se podrá personalizar el mono del piloto, los guantes, el casco y la insignia. Estos elementos se podrán comprar con Competition Points que se ganarán a través del modo multijugador.
- Nuevo modo evento online que permitirá correr cada fin de semana a unas horas fijas contra otros jugadores. El emparejamiento se realizará según tu tiempo de clasificación marcado a lo largo de la semana.
Modos de juego
- Carrera rápida
Elige un piloto y un circuito, configura el número de vueltas y la meteorología y ¡a correr!
- Contrarreloj
Elige un piloto, un circuito y la meteorología y marca el mejor tiempo de la pista.
- Modo campeonatos
Disputa el campeonato 2019 de F1 o el campeonato 2018 de F2 (posteriormente estará disponible también el de 2019) al completo o cualquiera de los otros campeonatos disponibles con los F1 clásicos.
Los campeonatos con los F1 clásicos pueden estar compuestos por carreras al sprint, completas o a doble manga y consigue medallas y desbloquea el siguiente campeonato. También se pueden seleccionar eventos por invitación, desbloqueables a través del modo carrera, que consistirán en pruebas contrarreloj, checkpoints, de adelantamientos o una carrera.
- Carrera profesional
Crea tu piloto, tu casco y tu número y comienza tu carrera desde la Formula 2, ficha por un equipo de F1 y entra en su academia de pilotos para poder convertirte en piloto oficial. Deberás gestionar tus relaciones con la prensa y con los demás pilotos y desarrollar el coche del equipo y hazte con el campeonato de Fórmula 1. El modo carrera tendrá una duración de 10 temporadas.
También se puede activar el modo Carrera profesional + en el que no habrá ayudas en la conducción, solo se podrá conducir con la cámara de cockpit, carreras con el fin de semana y la longitud al 100%.
- Modo online
Disputa carreras o un campeonato online de varias semanas de hasta 20 jugadores. Este año, con la incorporación del F1 especialmente creado para este modo, el jugador podrá personalizar los colores del coche y adquirir, con el dinero ganado en las carreras multijugador, monos, cascos e insignias para el piloto.
- Evento semanal
Durante toda la semana podrás participar en los entranamientos libres y sesión de clasificación de un gran premio determinado (cada semana cambia), para luego el fin de semana disputar carreras online contra otros jugadores a unas horas determinadas. El emparejamiento dependerá de tú tiempo de clasificación, al final de la semana, se otorgarán puntos multijugador y los jugadores con más puntos logrados, conseguirán premios como diseños para el coche multijugador o para el piloto.
- Ligas
Crea o busca ligas públicas o privadas con los circuitos, la configuración y fecha de cada carrera establecidas por el creador.
