Xbox 360 Arcade: Robbie Bach Makes it Official Although the upcoming Xbox 360 Core replacement has been spotted several times, Microsoft has yet to announce the Xbox 360 Arcade edition. Speaking to The Financial Times, Robbie Back, the head of Microsoft’s Entertainment and Devices division, said the $279 Xbox 360 Arcade will challenge the Wii for the new audience that Nintendo was bringing to gaming.
“Arcade becomes [for us] the ability to bring in a new set of audiences. They’re probably a little bit more casually focused, they’re looking for a new family experience or they’re more price focused,” Robbie Bach, told the Financial Times.
