Milestone s.r.l. is proud to announce MXGP2 – The Official Motocross Videogame, scheduled for launch in spring 2016 on Xbox One®, the all-in-one games and entertainment system, PlayStation®4, and Windows PC®/STEAM™.
A pulsating mechanical heart, powered by petrol and immersed in dust and mud, forged in the flames of the furnaces of master mechanics - the sound of the engine roaring in your helmet - the vibrations of the bike, every judder and jolt felt by players around the world, clutching their gamepads: these are the concepts guiding the development team working on the new chapter of the videogame series dedicated to one of the most adrenalin-charged, competitive, and spectacular two-wheel motorsports out there.

The stars of this new title are the riders, the teams, and the circuits of the 2015 season that have kept spectators glued to their screens and on the edges of their seats right up to Romain Febvre clinching the world title at the Netherlands MXGP on 30 August. As if that weren't enough, MXGP2 ups the stakes: the game covering the 2015 season brings a breath of fresh air, along with a blast of exhaust fumes, with the introduction of vehicle and rider customisation, indoor arena events, and much, much more. MXGP2 will ensure players keep one hand ready on the throttle, placing them firmly at the centre of the videogame experience.

The career mode is present and correct, alongside on-line and off-line modes to challenge players and push their gamepads to the limits, right up to the ultimate test: winning the title of undisputed Motocross champion, standing shoulder to shoulder and riding bar to bar with leading names in international Motocross racing, like Ryan Villopoto and eight-time world champion Tony Cairoli.

In MXGP2 you’ll have the chance to ride on 18 official tracks from the 2015 FIM Motocross World Championship, to live the amazing experience of MXoN and to scrub in the made-up indoor circuits.

Milestone announces the introduction of Stadium Series game mode in MXGP2 - The Official Motocross Videogame, available for PlayStation®4, Xbox One®, the all-in-one games and entertainment system and Windows PC®/STEAM™ .

The Stadium Series is a game mode that presents motocross tracks in stadiums. The peculiarity of this game mode is the track and jumps structure, very technical and spectacular. In MXGP2 the player can prove his skills in two stadiums types, each with two unique layouts for a total of four tracks:
• Football Arena 1
• Football Arena 2
• Diamond Stadium 1
• Diamond Stadium 2

It will be possible to race with the MXGP and MX official roster or with your own custom rider to try to beat rivals and get the best time.

On these 4 tracks, the games will have the possibility to play in the following game mode:

• Time Trial, performing an unlimited number of rounds, to get the best time;
• Grand Prix, with a chance to race for one weekend, starting from qualifying to the race;
• Championship, playing consecutive races in a championship, choosing the number of the weekend you want.


Put all your rider skills into game to test four technical and challenging circuits, surrounded by a picturesque sunset or a starry night.
The Stadium Series represent a new game mode thought and request by the players themselves to ensure variety in a unprecedented gameplay model in a motocross game.
Through the Stadiums, MXGP2 takes on a flavor that tastes show, jumps, dirt road and pure emotion, dedicated to all those who love to feel sport thrill through the vibration of their pad.

With the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations game mode, the player is officially part of the heart of motocross. The Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, born in 1947, is a team event scheduled at the end of the world championship, in which the riders of each nation compete representing their own country.
This new game mode involves, in fact, first of all, a selection of 11 most powerful compared nations to choose from for a challenge with no holds barred and jumps. Each team consists of 3 riders from each of 3 different classes, MXGP, MX2 and Open.
The last step before getting to the heart of the race, it provides the choice of track.
6 tracks are available in this game mode and they trace the tracks symbol of the championship:

• Lommel
• Teutschenthal
• Kegums
• Ernèe (2015)
• Maggiora
• Glen Helen


The player challenges other nations, participating in the competitions of each class with the selected rider, trying to get the best score. After the race, the three scores will be added together and the best Nation will be decreed winner.

Feel like a real star of motocross, customize your rider, create an exclusive set up for your bike and take to the track! With the rider and bike customization racing is even more electrifying.
In MXGP2 you have the possibility to create your own rider, choosing from several options.
In particular, the editable elements include:
• Helmet
• Goggles
• Neckbrace
• Racewear
• Boots

But that’s not all! Change your name, number and the font on your suit racewear and choose your nationality. Once you create your character, you go to the set up of the bike. The player goes into a real garage where they can change some parts like graphics, tires, suspension, accessories, exhausts and much much more.

But how to understand you've got a high-performance vehicle for beating any rival? The two new circuits of the track test mode are designed for this very reason. You can train and understand that you have built a powerful bike and that it is able to compete in all the races giving the maximum.

With two new layouts, the track tests can be covered in two game modes:
• Free riding: the rider enters in an open area and performs a number of laps as he wants for all the time useful to set up tests and he is free to switch from one circuit having freedom of movement;
• Time Session: as soon as the player approaches in one of the layouts in the area open, the clock marks the time, indicating to the pilot if the changes were effective for his riding style.

Each of the two layouts is designed for a specific training: the layout 1, in fact, can be used by those who want to increase their skills in the Official Championship, while the layout 2 is for the Stadium Series.

The customization of the rider and the bike plus the introduction of the track test mode allow the players to get into the competition designing a customized motorcycle, and having fun creating his own rider by bringing into the game all of his rider and mechanical skills at the same time.

Milestone announces that the New Release Date for MXGP2 is April 7th 2016 instead of the previous release date scheduled for 31st March 2016. The game will be available for PlayStation®4, Xbox One®, the all-in-one games and entertainment system and Windows PC®/STEAM™.

We just don't want to rush out a demo, and our priority was completing the game before starting to work on the demo. I hope you understand: as soon as you guys started to ask about the demo we started to talk about it internally. And now we're in the process of doing it.

Dear friends,
we are glad to announce that MXGP 2 demo will be available on PlayStation 4 from April 14 and on Xbox One and PC from April 21.
Now, we know many of you were expecting the demo before MXGP 2: The Official Motocross Videogame day one (April 7), and it's also thanks to your requests that we decided to release this demo. Nevertheless, this time we decided to dedicate all our efforts to the full game before starting to work on the demo. That said, we started to develop the demo as soon as we completed the main development, therefore we weren't able to deliver it in time for day one.
PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One demos will include different contents. On PS4 and PC you will be able to play in Thailand and Czech Republic, while on Xbox One Thailand and Germany circuits will be included.
