En esta ocasión la gran triunfadora ha vuelto a ser Electronic Arts, tal y como ocurrió el año pasado, con 11 galardones, aunque Ubisoft la ha seguido de cerca con 9.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time ha sido el juego favorito, llevándose 8 premios, entre los que figuran mejor juego de consola del año, mientras que Call of Duty ha sido premiado como juego del año.
El premio honorífico ha sido para Peter Molyneux.
