HILO de MAME

Las capturas son con F12.
De todos modos, con tab entras al menú de mame, donde puedes ver las teclas definidas por defecto, y cambiar las que quieras.

Sobre los archivos .ini y relación de aspecto.

He conseguido tener un neogeo.ini operativo (usar unibios y relación stretched), pero estoy muy interesado en galaxian.ini, y no consigo que funcione.
El problema es que en mame.ini la tengo definida en pixel, ya que creo que salen más juegos con la real que en auto.

Los que usan galaxian.cpp en modo pixel quedan muy estrechos (1:1). Puedo corregirlo en cada juego, pero si mame lo hace directamente, pues mejor.

He probado en mame 142, 200, 220, con distintas combinaciones usando pixel o standard, pero no hay manera.
Neogeo usa bios, y galaxian no. Creo que no tiene nada que ver, pero lo digo por si acaso.

Galaxian y amidar por ejemplo usan ese cpp, pero la lista es grande.

Estoy intentando jugar a juegos de Pionner Palcomn Laserdisc (Msx1) en el mame. Las roms son de alrededor 500mg a 1GB.
Queria saber si el mame está bien implementado para ejecutar estas roms ya que simpre al intentar ejecutarlas me dice que las roms son muy grandes.

Ya he conseguido que no me diga que el juego es muy grande... pero al poner el comando para que se ejecute el juego (call ld) se queda colgado y tengo que obligar a cerrar el mame.
Con el openmsx me corren perfectamente.

¿Que versión de romset utiliza el XMAME?
Usa 3 la 0.52 la 0.69 y la 0.84

Bueno, aprovecho que he "renovado" el pc con un portátil que me regaló @cupra4t, así que he probado a compilar de nuevo mame 0.220 para mi viejo XP ya que el soporte oficial ya sólo mantiene las versiones x64.

Con la novedad de que también puedo compilar la versión de 64bit.

Ya sabéis, es Groovy, es Arcade only y lleva el parche suppression para los warnings:

Si alguien lo prueba que me avise y lo doy por bueno, ahora mismo mi recreativa y yo estamos algo lejos.
¿Las carpetas llamadas xxx_sl, se configuran en el mismo directorio que la sin _sl? Por ejemplo, titles y titles_Sl, ¿las configuro en la opcion titles de mame? O las sl van aparte en otro lado.
¿Y los videosnaps donde se colocan?
Que locura de archivos, extensiones, programas, subprogramas y la ostia... normal que la gente medio normal prefiera videoconsolas, acabas loco :O

No sé si esto va acá o en el hilo de Hyperspin, pero bueno. Probé guardar partidas con el botón de Player II + Joystick II abajo, y pide pulsar una tecla para guardar posición. Vi que a Jandro Lion se le guardaba la partida directamente sin usar teclado ni pulsar nada. Ya probé a asignar botones del teclado con Joytokey a los botones arcade pero nada...

Alguna solución para guardar partida sin usar teclado, que no requiera ser ingeniero de la NASA?

También entré en configuración de Romlister pero no me guarda los ajustes (opción quitar clones por ejemplo). Pedía archivo controls.xml, después de crear el archivo controls.xml me dice que necesita doble o triple archivo de guardado o no sé que historias!! No podrían simplificar un poco estos programas? Es muy heavy [mad]

¿Al final lo arreglaron? Porque yo probé 1942 con el Mame de Retroarch versión 0.220 y se veía el error.
En cambio lo del Night Slashers con las transparencias sí que está solventado.

¿Es una recreativa tipo el juego "sextris" la de Hot Blocks? No fueron pocos los juegos de puzzle al que le han añadido ese toque de imagenes eróticas. Bueno, habrá que ver, aunque del tetris original en sí pues como la versión Atari Games, en recreativas, pues no hay ninguna que me gustase más. Bueno, sí, la de Game Boy pero eso ya no era una máquina recreativa.

Comentar que se han publicado ya las novedades que trae la actual versión 0.221 que no son precisamente pocas, tanto en el software list funcional como en las nuevas máquinas emuladas, y también hay multiples mejoras en la emulación de recreativas y máquinas ya existentes. Comentar que tras la emulación de la versión Panorama de Snoopy en esta versión pues sólo faltarían 3 Game & Watch más por emular para tener en MAME toda esa gama de portátiles emulada. Bueno, estas son las novedades que trae esta nueva versión:

He rescatado el mejor juego de futbol arcade de las entrañas de mi bartop: Goal 92 o Seibu Cup Soccer. Estaban ambas roms pero sin logo de wheel ni theme... Por lo visto la rom de Seibu no emula bien, y la de Goal 92 dicen que se bugea a veces. Pero lo que pude probar ningún problema, al parecer hay que tener las dos roms para que rule. Para mi es superior al Supersidekicks, un espectáculo para los años que tiene [tadoramo]

Entiendo que son miles de roms pero si me dedicase al negocio dedicaría tiempo a escoger clones que superen al original, etc. Y hacer un catálogo lo más selecto posible...

A alguien le funciona el Final Round (Boxeo a lo Rocky)??. Bajé dos roms diferentes, hace el amago de entrar con una pantalla verde y vueve al menú [reojillo]

La preservación pasa por visual pinball, y con una buena base el resultado final es mejor.
Curioso que de una mesa española, el manual que hay localizado sea alemán.

He descargado la version 221 para XP de @Retrodanuart (suelo usar el buscador antes de preguntar). La última versión oficial de Mame para XP es la 217?

¿Y por qué no usas una carpeta distinta y apuntas a la carpeta original de roms en el mame.ini?

De todas formas tengo una copia de seguridad de la carpeta Hyperspin (consejo de Cuclis). Si no fuera por eso ya me habría cargado todos los emuladores [+risas] Poco a poco me voy enterando de algo

Mañana probaré la 221 y la 217. Tema MAME me faltaría actualizar la lista.xml ya que no me detecta los clones [reojillo]

Algo me pasa en el mame que no guarda la configuración interna del juego.
Para entrar en la mayoria de la configuración interna del juego, como si fuera la bios del juego, es apretando F2.
Ahí en algunos juegos se cambia su configuración... pero al cerrar el juego y volver a entrar, esa configuración que he usado ya no está. Solo mantiene la configuración que sale apretando el tabulador (controles... etc).
A ver si esto se puede o es que realmente no se puede guardar la bios del juego y así mantener la configuración realizada.

Dime un juego en concreto y hago la prueba.
Mira que la carpeta nvram y su archivos no estén protegidos contra escritura.
Si no se soluciona prueba a renombrar o borrar la carpeta.
Bueno, es con la versión 0.158 (es la única que me funciona correctamente la pistola de la wii) y con juegos específicos, en otros si que me guarda la configuración.
Puede ser la rom del juego... no sé.

Con las ultimas versiones de mame a fecha de hoy me guarda todo correctamente.

La pistola de la wii te debe funcionar bien en las versiones más modernas si activas direct input en el mame.ini

Tengo el set completo de MAME (Roms, Software lists, y sus ambos CHDs), la ultima 0.221. Qué tal son sus colecciones de plataformas que ocupan mucho (psx, segacd, saturn, dc, etc...) en comparación por ejemplo con Redump?
Y las colecciones de roms mas ligeras tipo NES, MD.... qué tal son comparadas por ejemplo con No-intro?

Cual suele estar mas completa o actualizada, la de MAME o las de No-intro o Redump?

A destacar la ventaja de que MAME viene en CHD y es mucho más rápido de leer que zip.

Puesss ni idea, te diría que probases poniendo keyboard y joystick en dinput también y que pongas Lightgun en 0 ya que lo que haces es emular el ratón...
Nada no lo consigo.

No ti seguro de que se pueda.
Prueba a cambiar el control a ratón, creo que es como detecta el wiimote.

Necesito ayuda cada vez uso el mame 221 mejor dicho el sdlmame, me da fallo con tema de BGFX aun sin esta usando ese modo de video uso Opengl hasta el punto que tengo que lanza mame de la siguiente manera.
