Bueno, a no ser que haya algún cambio bestia... la 198 está bien. Lo último interesante que ha pasado (en mi opinión) es el debloqueo de los juegos de Galeco. Es cierto que se están metiendo versiones de juegos MIA, pero... no soy muy fan de los juegos de principios de los 80. Son toscos como ellos sólos, con manejo duro, duro, duro.

Por ejemplo Tecfri hizo el Tricky Doc es un juego durisimo sobre todo por cualquier salto que no esta a la misma altura de la plataforma es muerte seguro y saltar un enemigo igual aun rozando lo minimo la caja de impacto es una mierda

O el kangaroo, que caer desde la gran altura de... 1 pixel... es muerte segura. Añade un control ortopédico en el que casi desplazas la recre por lo mal que responde... Y tienes los juegos de principios de los 80 ;-)

Los que me gustan a mi (mediados 80 a finales) están perfectamente emulados ya... Si, quizá haya algo que falte, pero a estas alturas, de cara a jugar, ya me vale. Entiendo que MAME trate de llegar a la perfección, claro, pero... si sólo quieres jugar, te da igual si se está yendo un frame cada minuto con respecto al hardware original ;-)

Y más si hablamos de meterlo en una maca. Es compatible tener un mame antiguo en una maca, y totalmente actualizado en tu PC.

Chicos alguno me puede decir como poner pausa en los juegos de Mame? Es que no encuentro la manera de hacerlo. El Mame lo tengo en una recreativa y con Hyperspin, lo aviso a ver si alguno me dice como poner la pausa porque ni mirando por Google pude solucionarlo.

Otra duda que tengo es como puedo hacer para configurar la carga de las Aimtrak en el House the House del emulador de Sega Am2, logre configurar bien las pistolas y va de maravilla pero ahora no puedo cambiar el cargador de las balas, ni siquiera poniendo el tabulador.

Para pausar la emulación en Mame simplemente tienes que pulsar la tecla P o bien cambiarla por la que tu desees desde el menu del emulador. Si usas Hyperspin puedes remapearla al joystick o a los botones de la recre sin muchos problemas desde el frontend si no quieres hacerlo desde el emulador directamente

Para los juegos de AM2 si estas usando el emulador de Sega Model 2 necesitas crear el emulador borderless porque sino cuando quieres recargar apuntando fuera de la pantalla no lo reconoce correctamente y como consecuencia las pistolas no recargan tus balas.

Puedes usar la aplicación de la que te dejo el link que crea el emulador de forma que si apuntas con la mira de la pistola fuera de la pantalla si que te debería de reconocer como recarga tu interacción con el emulador.

EDIT: feliz año nuevo a todos que hacia tiempo que no me pasaba por aqui :D
Recordando ajustes básicos:
Con un teclado conectado, pulsas tab, y entras al menú de mame.
Puedes configurar las teclas para todos los juegos, y cambiar para alguno en especial.
Para no depender del teclado, se pueden definir las teclas de entrar al menú (yo uso coin1 + abajo), seleccionar (botón 1) y el resto al gusto. Se recomienda que las teclas por defecto sigan activas. Lo digo para los que usen mandos arcade en bartop o similar.

Te colocas sobre la acción a editar, miras el ajuste por defecto, pulsas enter, pulsas la tecla que estaba definida, SIN CAMBIAR DE LINEA pulsas enter, pulsas la nueva tecla/combinación.

Pues entonces lo mejor es que tengas la última versión del emulador. Más juegos emulados, más bugs corregidos, más opciones de video y filtros que antes etc...

Lo único que podría cambiar esto es que tengas un PC muy justo y que no te fuese a ir bien el emulador porque desde la revisión 0.170 hacia adelante el emulador pide algo más de requisitos que antes y no tardando cuando no se pueda compilar con los gcc 5.30 o gcc 6.3.0 y pasemos a la 8.xx volverán a subir otro poco.
Me van bien los 2D y algunos 3D como Virtua Racing, Die Hard Arcade y Tekken van a tirones. De todas maneras, tengo pensado pillar un MiniPC de AliExpress y un Stick Arcade, y no me preocupan mucho los 3D la verdad

Lo que si quiero mirar es que el juego arranque del tirón, sin ninguna pantalla de información, y los de NeoGeo sin la de selección de Bios

No, no es tan sencillo. Las compilaciones de Mame oficiales pueden quitar algunas pantallas de inicio de los juegos si lo configuras de esa manera, pero si el juego esta mal emulado te saldrá una pantalla de información explicándotelo por lo que algunas pantallas las tendrás en algunos de los juegos (aunque solo te saldrán la primera vez que los cargues en cada revision)

Para que no te salgan ninguna de las pantallas de espera, necesitas una version no nag del emulador que modifican el código fuente del emulador antes de compilarlo para que no te salgan nunca (aunque dependiendo de quien haga la modificación se suelen dejar las opciones por si se quieren volver a activar).

Las versiones no nag las puedes descargar desde mi web que las compilo yo mismo cada vez que sale una versión de Mame.

No te puedo poner la mia, porque está sin tocar. En su día hice pruebas y quedaba chulo, pero empezaba a petardear el sonido y funcionaba raro todo. Tengo un portatil con un i5-6200 y una VGA Geforce 940M y... acabé dejando las scanlines normales y a correr.

Ve probando cosas, a ver si encuentras un punto que te guste.

Yo tengo un barebone con una 9300 y funciona, pero te cuento como. Mame ejecuta los juegos en resolución nativa de Windows, es decir si tienes 1920x1080 el juego lo reescala a esa resolución y lógicamente una gráfica "mala" no puede. Yo force que el juego se ejecute a 1024x576 a través del comando, y luego en el mame.ini debes cambiar un 0 por un 1 en algo que bloquea la resolución de inicio. Si necesitas ayuda esta noche te paso el comando para poner en el acceso directo y la línea que hay que modificar y va fluido.

Estoy intentando usar mame para emular x68000. Se que hay emus específicos para esta plataforma pero quisiera usar groovymess desde linux en un crt. Bueno, el caso es que antes de ponerme con el pc que uso para emulación he probado desde el portátil y... no hay manera.

Pruebe el juego que pruebe me dice que no encuentra estos dos ficheros

He puesto el nombre de esos dos archivos en Google y salen un monton de resultados. Son archivos de la bios o parent de alguna rom. Hay una página con nombre italiano donde los puedes encontrar en la primera o segunda página de resultados de Google.
@Ronbin esos ficheros están en la BIOS, x68000.zip

@bobst el virtua racing me funciona bien en un mame antiguo, pero en uno actualizado ya no. Hablo de un equipo un poco justo, claro, un core2duo. Para los 2d, sin problemas.
Aparte el mame nuevo tarda más en arrancar, aunque solo la primera vez.

Yo es que después de buscar en google, los 3 o 4 primeros resultados no me abren y la página italiana no encuentro ningún enlace de descarga, por eso he preguntado. Creo que en la normal también, en el .ini de cada juego.
@bobst si cada mame carga de una manera, es que tienen mame.ini independientes.
Supongo que uno en la carpeta de mame y otro en la carpeta ini.

El nonag, al cargarlo ¿Sale un menú? Por si lo puedes definir directamente. No me refiero a cargar un juego y pulsar tab, que en ese menú hay menos opciones, sino a ejecutar el exe.
Si solo funciona en modo texto, siempre puedes comparar los archivos de ajustes de cada mame y copiar las líneas que te interesen.
Mejor con notepad++
Mírate lo del .ini, pero como sea por cada juego, lo voy a flipar XD
@bobst Si haces un .ini llamado neogeo.ini se incluyen todos los juegos de neogeo y no necesitas hacerlo por cada juego. Además puedes usar la unibios directamente al cargar los juegos si lo especificas en el mame.ini como bien te han indicado.

Buenas! tengo un problema bastante extraño que por mas que pruebo cosas o busco por internet no logro solucionar, sois mi ultima esperanza XD .

El tema esta en el core de mame de retroarch en android (del 2014 en adelante) y juegos como tekken y tekken 2 (el 3 si funciona aunque mal de rendimiento), la movida es que no me mapea los botones, osea si entro en la configuración de mame si estan correctos pero después no funcionan, creo que tampoco tengo sonido. Mismos cores y mismas roms en pc funcionan correctamente.

Alguien me puede echar una mano? Me esta dando mucho coraje porque lo que se ve de la demo antes de meter credito parece que va fluido.
Mame Android? A ver si te puedo ayudar..... Yo me lo baje para el móvil y uso un cable otg para usar un mando estilo snes y jugar unas partidas en el tren. Solo juego a street fighter ii ce y cada vez que entro en la app debo mapear los botones dentro de mame4droid porque si no, no los reconoce mame aunque en mame4droid pone que si están bien pero no va. El pad siempre funciona bien. No se si te refieres a esto o no. Yo lo he dejado por imposible y cada vez que entro mapeo botones.

Es el core de mame para retroarch y si, en android. Solo tengro el problema con esos 2 juegos (de los que he probado), como ya te digo en principio se mapean bien (entro en el menu de mame y estan como tienen que estar) pero despues no funcionan :-?.

mirando un poco el codigo del core igual viene por esto, pero este remapeo lo hacen muchos juegos y no hay ningun problema

Tiene pinta que es mas problema de retroarch que de mame en si, asi que quizas no estoy en hilo adecuado.
Ya y a mi me pasa lo mismo en mame4all..... Entro y esta todo en orden en todos los menús pero no funcionan los botones, el pad si, remapeo en el menú de mame4all, no en el de mame y funciona bien

Te recomiendo que utilices la ultima versión, con el romset asociado a esa versión (tanto roms como CHDs). Te mando un MP.

En realidad no se han centrado en nada, simplemente son nuevos dispositivos que van añadiendo. El emulador sigue mejorando en diferentes aspectos tanto relacionados con el mundo arcade como de micros/consolas/handhelds.

Es que no entiendo mucho el hecho de que hayan acabados fusionados Mame y Mess en las últimas versiones oficiales (sí, ya conozco Arcade32/64 que sólo carga roms de arcades como el antiguo) porque te encuentras juegos con una calidad muy dispar (aunque no todas las recreativas eran buenas, por supuesto).

Básicamente por razones de orden y reutilización del código. Algunas máquinas comparten componentes internos con otras y a la hora de desarrollar el hecho de no programar para dos proyectos diferentes les ayuda a enfocar las posibles mejoras y/o modificaciones.

A mí hace un tiempo también me chocó, pero ya me he acostumbrado e incluso siempre que sale una nueva versión me complio los ejecutables de MAME y MESS separadamente.

¿Mame actualizado con más compatibilidad de ROMs?. Entro ej google play y sigo viendo lo mismo de siempre: MAME 0.139u1 y MAME 0.37b5.
Yo el que uso es el 0.139u1, que por cierto no pilla casi ninguna ROM que sea del 2000 al 2019.
